കേരളം, കർണാടക തീരങ്ങളിൽ ഇന്ന് മത്സ്യബന്ധനത്തിന് തടസ്സമില്ല. എന്നാൽ ലക്ഷദ്വീപ് ൽ, മാലിദ്വീപ് പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ മണിക്കൂറിൽ 40 മുതൽ 50 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ വേഗതയിൽ കാറ്റിനും മോശം കാലാവസ്ഥയും സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്.
