ഗോഡൗണുകളിലെ ഭക്ഷ്യസംഭരണ സംവിധാനം ശാസ്ത്രീയമായി പുന:ക്രമീകരിക്കുമെന്ന് ഭക്ഷ്യവകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി ജി.ആർ.അനിൽ പറഞ്ഞു. വെളളയിൽ എൻഎഫ്എസ്എ ഗോഡൗണും സെൻ്റർ വേർഹൗസിംഗ് കോർപറേഷൻ്റെ ഗോഡൗണും സന്ദർശിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം. വെള്ളയിൽ ഗോഡൗണിലെ തൊഴിൽ തർക്കം പരിഹരിക്കുന്നതിനും ഗോഡൗണിനോട് ചേർന്നുള്ള സപ്ലൈകോ ഉടമസ്ഥതയിലുള്ള സ്ഥലം കാര്യക്ഷമമായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് കൂടിയാലോചിക്കാനുമാണ് മന്ത്രി ഗോഡൗണുകളിൽ സന്ദർശനം നടത്തിയത്.
നിലവിൽ ഗോഡൗണിൽ അരിയും മറ്റ് സാധനങ്ങളും സൂക്ഷിക്കാൻ സ്ഥലപരിമിതിയുള്ളതായി ബോധ്യപ്പെട്ടതായും ഇതിന് ഉടൻ പരിഹാരം കാണുമെന്നും മന്ത്രി അറിയിച്ചു. ഗോഡൗണിലെത്തുന്ന ഭക്ഷ്യവസ്തുക്കൾ മുൻഗണനാക്രമത്തിൽ ഉടൻ വിതരണം ചെയ്യാൻ മന്ത്രി ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർക്ക് നിർദ്ദേശം നൽകി.
ജില്ലാ സപ്ലൈ ഓഫീസർ കെ.രാജീവ്, അസി.റീജ്യണൽ മാനേജർ കെ.മനോജ് കുമാർ, സിവിൽസപ്ലൈസ് ഡിപ്പോ മാനേജർ കെ.കെ.രജനി തുടങ്ങിയവരും മന്ത്രിക്കൊപ്പമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

Food Minister GR Anil said the food storage system in the godowns would be scientifically restructured. He was visiting the NFSA warehouse and the warehouse of the Center Warehousing Corporation. The Minister visited the godowns to discuss the labor dispute in the godown and to discuss the efficient use of the land owned by Supplyco adjacent to the godown.
The minister said there was a shortage of space in the godown for storing rice and other items and this would be rectified soon. The Minister directed the officials to immediately distribute the food items arriving at the godown in order of priority. District Supply Officer K Rajeev, Assistant Regional Manager K Manoj Kumar and Civil Supplies Depot Manager KK Rajani were also present with the Minister.
