കോട്ടയം ഇടുക്കി പത്തനംതിട്ട കൊല്ലം ആലപ്പുഴ ജില്ലകളിൽ വൈകീട്ടോ രാത്രിയിലോ ആയി ചില ഇടങ്ങളിലായി ഇടിയോടു കൂടിയ മഴ സാധ്യത. എറണാകുളം തൃശൂർ മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലാകളുടെ ചുരുക്കം ചില ഇടങ്ങളിൽ രാത്രി വൈകി നേരിയ മഴ സാധ്യത.
കനത്ത ചൂടിന് ആശ്വാസമായി മാർച്ച് 20ന് ശേഷം വേനൽ മഴയ്ക്ക് സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്ന് നേരത്തെ സൂചിപ്പിരുന്നു. ആരംഭത്തിൽ തെക്കൻ ജില്ലകളിൽ ചുരുക്കം ഇടങ്ങളിലായി മഴ ലഭിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും കേരളത്തിൽ മാർച്ച് അവസാന വാരം മൂന്ന് നാല് ദിവസങ്ങളായി വടക്കൻ ജില്ലകളിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടെ പലയിടത്തും ഇടിയോടു കൂടിയ മഴ ലഭിക്കും.
ഏപ്രിൽ ആദ്യ പകുതിയിലും കേരളത്തിൽ സാധാരണയിൽ കുറവ് മഴ മാത്രമേ മഴ ലഭിക്കൂ എന്നാണ് നിലവിലെ സൂചന. ഏപ്രിൽ പകുതിയോടെ വേനൽ മഴ കേരളത്തിൽ പൊതുവിൽ സജീവമാകും.

It was earlier indicated that summer rains are likely after March 20 as a relief from the intense heat. In the beginning, there may be rain at few places in the southern districts, but in the last week of March Kerala will receive rain with thunder in many places including the northern districts for three to four days.
Current indications are that Kerala will receive less than normal rainfall in the first half of April as well. By mid-April, summer rains will generally be active in Kerala.
