വൈവിധ്യമാർന്ന മൂല്യവർദ്ധിത കയർ ഉൽപ്പന്നങ്ങളുടെ നിർമാണത്തിലും വിപണനത്തിലും ശ്രദ്ധയൂന്നിയാകും രണ്ടാം കയർ പുനഃസംഘടനാ പദ്ധതിയെന്നും പുതിയ വിപണികൾ കണ്ടെത്തുന്നതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി കയർഫെഡ് ഉൽപ്പന്നങ്ങളുടെ ഓൺലൈൻ വില്പന സാധ്യമാക്കുമെന്നും വ്യവസായ മന്ത്രി പി രാജീവ്.

കയർഫെഡിന്റെ 'പുതുവർഷ സ്വർണ്ണമഴ' കൂപ്പൺ പദ്ധതിയുടെയും കയർഫെഡ് ജീവനക്കാർക്കുള്ള 'കയർ ചാമ്പ്യൻ' പദ്ധതിയുടെയും ഉദ്ഘാടനം തിരുവനന്തപുരം പ്രസ് ക്ലബ് ഹാളിൽ നിർവഹിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു മന്ത്രി. തൊഴിൽനഷ്ടം കൂടാതെയുള്ള യന്ത്രവൽക്കരണവും ആധുനികവൽക്കരണവുമാണ് കയർഫെഡിൽ നടത്തുന്നതെന്നും നിർമിക്കുന്ന ഭൂവസ്ത്രങ്ങൾക്ക് വടക്കുകിഴക്കൻ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ വിപണി കണ്ടെത്തുമെന്നും മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.
പുതുവത്സര സ്വർണമഴ പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത കയർഫെഡ് ഉത്പന്നങ്ങൾ 2000 രൂപയ്‌ക്കോ അതിലധികമോ വിലക്ക് വാങ്ങുന്നവർക്ക് 40 ശതമാനം ഡിസ്‌കൗണ്ട് ലഭിക്കും. ഇതോടൊപ്പം ലഭിക്കുന്ന കൂപ്പൺ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് സ്വർണ്ണമഴ നറുക്കെടുപ്പിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി സ്വർണ്ണനാണയങ്ങൾ നേടാനുള്ള അവസരവും ഒരുക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് കയർഫെഡ് ചെയർമാൻ എൻ സായികുമാർ പറഞ്ഞു. കയർഫെഡ് മാനേജിംഗ് ഡയറക്ടർ സി. സുരേഷ്‌കുമാർ, ബോർഡ് മെമ്പർമാരായ കഠിനംകുളം സാബു, ആർ. അജിത് കുമാർ എന്നിവർ പങ്കെടുത്തു.
കയര്‍ഫെഡ് വിദേശ വ്യാപാരം പുനരാരംഭിച്ചു
Industry Minister P Rajeev said the second coir restructuring project would focus on the production and marketing of a variety of value-added coir products and would enable online sales of Coirfed products as part of finding new markets.
The Minister was inaugurating Coirfed's' New Year “Swarnamazha Padhathi” and Coirfed employees' Coir Champion scheme at the Press Club Hall, Thiruvananthapuram. The Minister said that Coirfed is undergoing mechanization and modernization without any loss of employment and will find markets in the north-eastern states for the geotextiles it manufactures.
Those who buy selected Coirfed products for Rs 2,000 or more as part of the New Year's Swarnamazha scheme will get a 40 percent discount. Coirfed chairman N Saikumar said the coupons would also be used to win gold coins as part of the Swarnamazha Lottery. Coirfed Managing Director c. Suresh Kumar, Board Members Kathinamkulam Sabu, R. and Ajit Kumar participated in the program.
