തൃശ്ശൂർ: തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് പത്ര - ഇലക്ട്രോണിക് – സാമൂഹിക മാധ്യമങ്ങളിലും പ്രചരിക്കുന്ന പെയ്ഡ് വാര്‍ത്തകളും സര്‍ട്ടിഫിക്കേഷനില്ലാതെ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന / സംപ്രേഷണം ചെയ്യുന്ന പരസ്യങ്ങളും നിരീക്ഷിക്കാന്‍ മീഡിയ സര്‍ട്ടിഫിക്കേഷന്‍ മോണിറ്ററിങ് കമ്മിറ്റി (എം.സി.എം.സി.) കളക്ടറേറ്റിലെ ഒന്നാം നിലയില്‍ സജ്ജമാക്കിയ 94-ാം ഹാളില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചു വരുന്നു.
ഇതിനുപുറമെ വ്യാജവാര്‍ത്തകളും നിരീക്ഷിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. സെല്ലില്‍ ജില്ലാ ഇന്‍ഫര്‍മേഷന്‍ ഓഫീസറും മീഡിയ & കമ്മ്യൂണിക്കേഷന്‍ നോഡല്‍ ഓഫീസറുമായ എന്‍. സതീഷ്‌കുമാറിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ ഇരുപതോളം പേരാണ് നിരീക്ഷിക്കുന്നത്.
The Media Certification Monitoring Committee (MCMC) is functioning at Hall 94 on the first floor of the Collectorate to monitor paid news and advertisements published/broadcasted without certification in print, electronic and social media related to elections.
Apart from this, fake news is also monitored. The cell is monitored by around twenty people under the leadership of District Information Officer and Media & Communication Nodal Officer N Satish Kumar.
