അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ചെറുധാന്യ വര്‍ഷത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് അട്ടപ്പാടി ആദിവാസി സമഗ്ര വികസന പദ്ധതിയുടെയും ജില്ലാ കുടുംബശ്രീ മിഷന്റെയും ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തില്‍ സംസ്ഥാനതല 'നമ്ത്ത് തീവനഗ' ചെറുധാന്യ സന്ദേശ യാത്രയുടെ സമാപനം പാലക്കാട് സിവില്‍ സ്റ്റേഷന്‍ പരിസരത്ത് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്ത് സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു ജില്ലാ പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ്.
ജീവിത ശൈലിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി വന്ന ഭക്ഷണ മാറ്റങ്ങള്‍ സംഭവിച്ച ഇന്നത്തെ കാലഘട്ടത്തില്‍ ജനങ്ങളെ ചെറുധാന്യങ്ങളുടെ ഗുണഗണങ്ങള്‍ സംബന്ധിച്ച് ബോധവാന്മാരാക്കി ചെറുധാന്യങ്ങള്‍ ശീലമാക്കാന്‍ കഴിയണമെന്നും ജില്ലാ പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ് പറഞ്ഞു. ഏറ്റവും നല്ല കുടുംബശ്രീ സംരഭങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടായി വരണമെന്നും പ്രസിഡന്റ് കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തു.
