കേരളത്തിൽ ഇന്നും നാളെയും ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട ഇടങ്ങളിൽ ഇടിമിന്നലോടുകൂടിയ മഴയ്ക്ക് സാധ്യതയെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥാ വകുപ്പ് അറിയിച്ചു. ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് 2 മണി മുതൽ 10 മണി വരെയുള്ള സമയത്ത് ഇടിമിന്നലിൽ ഉള്ള സാധ്യത കൂടുതലാണ്. മലയോരമേഖലയിൽ ഇടിമിന്നൽ സജീവമാകാനാണ് സാധ്യത. അന്തരീക്ഷം മേഘാവൃതമായി കണ്ടു തുടങ്ങുമ്പോഴേക്കും തുറസായ സ്ഥലത്തും, ടെറസിലും കുട്ടികൾ കളിക്കാൻ പോകരുത്.
The Central Meteorological Department has forecast isolated thundershowers in Kerala today and tomorrow. The chances of thunderstorms are high between 2pm and 10pm. Lightning is likely to be active in the hilly region. Children should not go to play in the open air or on the terrace until the atmosphere begins to look cloudy. Knock on windows and doors. Do not bathe during thunderstorms. Avoid using the telephone during these times. Disconnect electrical appliances from other appliances. Do not tie pets in the open. If inside vehicles, park in an open area and avoid touching metal parts.
ജനലും വാതിലും അടിച്ചെടുക്കുക. ഇടിമിന്നൽ ഉള്ള സമയത്ത് കുളിക്കാൻ പോകരുത്. ഈ സമയങ്ങളിൽ ടെലിഫോൺ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത് ഒഴിവാക്കുക. മറ്റു ഗൃഹോപകരണങ്ങളുടെ വൈദ്യുതി ബന്ധം വിച്ഛേദിക്കുക. വളർത്തുമൃഗങ്ങളെ തുറസ്സായ സ്ഥലത്ത് കെട്ടരുത്. വാഹനങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളിൽ ആണെങ്കിൽ തുറസ്സായ സ്ഥലത്ത് നിർത്തി ലോഹഭാഗങ്ങൾ സ്പർശിക്കാതെ ഇരിക്കണം.
