ഇന്നും നാളെയും കൊല്ലം, ആലപ്പുഴ,കൊച്ചി പൊന്നാനി,കോഴിക്കോട്, കണ്ണൂർ കാസർഗോഡ് എന്നീ തീരങ്ങളിലും താഴ്ന്ന പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലും ഉയർന്ന തിരമാലക്കും കടൽ ആക്രമണത്തിനും സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്ന് ദേശീയ സമുദ്ര പഠന ഗവേഷണ കേന്ദ്രം അറിയിച്ചു.
ഇവിടെ പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്ന തിരമാലയുടെ ഉയരം 1.5 മുതൽ 2.0 വരെയാണ്. ഈ ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ തീരപ്രദേശത്തെ താഴ്ന്ന പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ വേലിയേറ്റ സമയത്ത് വെള്ളം കയറാൻ സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്. കടലാക്രമണ രൂക്ഷമാകാൻ സാധ്യതയുള്ളതിനാൽ തീരമേഖലയിൽ വള്ളങ്ങളും ബോട്ടുകളും ഇറക്കുന്നത് ഒഴിവാക്കുക.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has forecast high tides and high tides off the coasts of Kollam, Alappuzha, Kochi, Ponnani, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasaragod.
