തെക്ക് കിഴക്കൻ അറബികടലിനും തെക്ക് പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ അറബികടലിനും മുകളിലായി ചക്രവാതച്ചുഴി നിലനില്കുന്നതിൻറെ ഫലമായി കേരളത്തിൽ അടുത്ത 5 ദിവസം ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ മിതമായ/ ഇടത്തരം മഴയ്ക്ക് സാധ്യതയെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥ വകുപ്പ് അറിയിക്കുന്നു.

ഇതിനുപുറമെ ഭൂമധ്യരേഖക്ക് സമീപം ഇന്ത്യൻ മഹാസമുദ്രത്തിനും തെക്ക് പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ ബംഗാൾ ഉൾകടലിനും മുകളിലായി മറ്റൊരു ചക്രവാതചുഴി സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നതായി കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥ വകുപ്പ് മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
Central Meteorological Department informs that due to the presence of cyclonic circulation over South East Arabian Sea and South West Arabian Sea, there is a possibility of moderate/moderate rain at isolated places in Kerala for the next 5 days.
But there are no warning of thundering and lightning.
Apart from this, the Central Meteorological Department has warned that another cyclonic vortex is located over the Indian Ocean and southwest Bay of Bengal near the equator.
