കേരളത്തിൽ ശരാശരിയെക്കാൾ കൂടുതൽ മഴ ലഭിച്ച മാസങ്ങൾ ആയിരുന്നു ഒൿടോബർ തൊട്ട് കഴിഞ്ഞ ആഴ്ച വരെ. എന്നാൽ ഇനിയുള്ള ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ മഴ സാധ്യത വളരെ കുറവ് ആയിരിക്കും. കേരളത്തിലെ ജില്ലകളിലും ഇന്ന് മഴ സാധ്യത ഇല്ല. ഇനിയുള്ള ആഴ്ചകളിൽ മഴ കുറഞ്ഞു ചൂട് കൂടുന്ന അന്തരീക്ഷസ്ഥിതി ആണ് ഉണ്ടാവുക.
ശ്രീലങ്കക്ക് അടുത്തുള്ള ചക്രവാത ചുഴി തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജില്ലയിൽ ചിലപ്പോൾ മഴക്ക് കാരണമാവും. ജനുവരി അവസാനവാരം ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട ഇടങ്ങളിൽ മഴ ഉണ്ടായേക്കാമെന്ന് കാലാവസ്ഥ വകുപ്പ് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
