സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് അഞ്ച് പുതിയ സസ്യരോഗ ക്ലിനിക്കുകൾ പ്രവർത്തനം ആരംഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. തിരുവനന്തപുരം, വെള്ളനാട്, ഇടുക്കി, വയനാട്, തൊണ്ടർനാട് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലാണ് ഈ സസ്യരോഗ ക്ലിനിക്കുകൾ പ്രവർത്തനം ആരംഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഈ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലുള്ള കൃഷിഭവനുകളോട് സഹകരിച്ചു ആയിരിക്കും ഇതിൻറെ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ.
ഈ പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി പെസ്റ്റ് സ്കൗട്ടുകൾ കൃഷിയിടങ്ങൾ സന്ദർശിച്ച് വിവരങ്ങൾ ശേഖരിച്ച ശേഷം കീടരോഗബാധ സംബന്ധിച്ച് മുന്നറിയിപ്പുകളും ശാസ്ത്രീയ നിയന്ത്രണമാർഗങ്ങളും കർഷകർക്ക് നൽകുന്നു. ഇന്റർനെറ്റ് അധിഷ്ഠിതമായ കാർഷിക സൗകര്യങ്ങളും കർഷകർക്ക് ലഭ്യമാക്കി നൽകുന്നു.
Five new herbal clinics have been started in the state. These herbal clinics have been started in Thiruvananthapuram, Vellanad, Idukki, Wayanad and Thondarnad. Its activities will be in collaboration with Krishi Bhavans in these areas.
As part of this project, pest scouts visit farms and collect information and then provide farmers with pest control warnings and scientific control measures.
കീടരോഗ നിയന്ത്രണത്തിന് വേണ്ടിവരുന്ന ഉപകരണങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചും, ശത്രു മിത്ര കീടങ്ങളെ തിരിച്ചറിയാനുള്ള മാതൃകകളെ കുറിച്ചും, സന്തുലിത വളപ്രയോഗ ത്തെ കുറിച്ചുമെല്ലാം കർഷകർക്ക് വേണ്ട നിർദ്ദേശങ്ങൾ നൽകുന്നു.
It also provides internet based farming facilities to the farmers. Provides guidance to farmers on pest control equipment, models for identifying hostile and allied pests, and balanced fertilizer application. It also provides services such as soil acidity testing and agricultural library.
ഇതോടൊപ്പം മണ്ണിൻറെ അമ്ലത പരിശോധന, കാർഷിക ലൈബ്രറി തുടങ്ങിയ സേവനങ്ങളും ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്നു.
