കൃഷി, ടൂറിസം മേഖലകളിൽ കേരളവുമായി സഹകരിക്കുന്നത് പരിഗണിക്കാമെന്ന് ഇസ്രയേൽ

കൃഷി, ടൂറിസം മേഖലകളിൽ കേരളത്തിന്റെ  പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളുമായി സഹകരിക്കുന്നത്  അനുഭാവപൂർവം  പരിഗണിക്കാമെന്ന് സൗത്ത് ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഇസ്രയേൽ കോൺസുൽ ജനറൽ ടമി ബെൻ ഹെയിം അറിയിച്ചു.  മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പിണറായി വിജയനുമായി ചേംബറിൽ നടന്ന  കൂടിക്കാഴ്ചയിലാണ് ഇത് വ്യക്തമാക്കിയത്. 

ഇസ്രായേലിലെ ടൂറിസം മന്ത്രാലയവുമായി ആലോചിച്ച് കേരളവുമായുള്ള ടൂറിസം രംഗത്തെ സഹകരണം എങ്ങനെയൊക്കെയാകാമെന്ന്  നിശ്ചയിക്കുമെന്ന് കോൺസുൽ ജനറൽ  ഉറപ്പുനൽകി.

മൂല്യവർധിത കാർഷികോല്പന്നങ്ങൾ വികസിപ്പിക്കുന്നതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് ഇസ്രായേൽ കമ്പനികളുമായി ധാരണാപത്രം ഒപ്പിടുന്നതിന് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥ തലത്തിൽ ചർച്ചകൾ തുടരാമെന്നും കോൺസുൽ ജനറൽ അറിയിച്ചു. ഇസ്രായേൽ മന്ത്രി ഫെബ്രുവരിയിൽ കേരളം സന്ദർശിക്കാൻ തയ്യാറെടുക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. കോൺസുൽ ജനറലിന്റെ സഹകരണം മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്തു.

കേരളവുമായി ഇസ്രായേലിനുള്ള  ദീർഘകാലത്തെ ബന്ധം മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി കൂടിക്കാഴ്ചയിൽ ഓർമിപ്പിച്ചു. ആദ്യകാല ഇസ്രയേൽ കുടിയേറ്റ പ്രതീകമായ കൊച്ചിയിലെ സിനഗോഗിന്റെ കാര്യവും മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി സൂചിപ്പിച്ചു.

Consul General of Israel in South India Tammy Ben Haim informed that Israel would consider cooperating with Kerala's activities in the fields of agriculture and tourism. This was clarified in a meeting with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in the chamber.

The Consul General assured that he will consult with the Ministry of Tourism in Israel to determine how the tourism cooperation with Kerala can be.

The Consul General also informed that discussions will continue at the official level to sign MoUs with Israeli companies regarding the development of value-added agricultural products. The Israeli minister is preparing to visit Kerala in February. The Chief Minister welcomed the cooperation of the Consul General.

In the meeting, the Chief Minister recalled Israel's long-standing relationship with Kerala. The Chief Minister also mentioned the Synagogue in Kochi, which is a symbol of early Israeli settlement.
