തിരുവനന്തപുരം: കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസങ്ങളില്‍ പെയ്ത അതിശക്തമായ മഴയില്‍ ജില്ലയില്‍ 32.81 കോടി രൂപയുടെ കൃഷിനാശമെന്ന് പ്രാഥമിക വിവരം. വിവിധ കൃഷി മേഖലകളിലായി 9177 കര്‍ഷകരെയാണ് നഷ്ടം ബാധിച്ചത്. 1011.72 ഹെക്ടര്‍ സ്ഥലത്തെ കൃഷിക്ക് നാശം സംഭവിച്ചു. നവംബര്‍ 10 മുതലുള്ള കണക്കാണിതെന്ന് പ്രിന്‍സിപ്പല്‍ അഗ്രിക്കള്‍ച്ചര്‍ ഓഫീസര്‍ കെ.എം രാജു അറിയിച്ചു.
വാഴ, നെല്ല്, പച്ചക്കറി, മരച്ചീനി എന്നീ വിളകളെ മഴ സാരമായി ബാധിച്ചു. 575.74 ഹെക്ടര്‍ വാഴ, 69.36 ഹെക്ടര്‍ നെല്ല്, 179.99 ഹെക്ടര്‍ പച്ചക്കറി കൃഷി എന്നിവയാണ് കനത്ത മഴയില്‍ നശിച്ചത്. 160.64 ഹെക്ടര്‍ സ്ഥലത്തെ മരച്ചീനി കൃഷിയും 8.20 ഹെക്ടറിലെ മറ്റ് കിഴങ്ങ് വര്‍ഗവിളകളും മഴയില്‍ നശിച്ചു. 5.80 ഹെക്ടര്‍ റബ്ബര്‍, 4.62 ഹെക്ടര്‍ ഇഞ്ചികൃഷി, 2.80 ഹെക്ടര്‍ വെറ്റില, 2.08 ഹെക്ടര്‍ നാളികേരം, 1.52 ഹെക്ടര്‍ കുരുമുളക് എന്നിങ്ങനെയാണ് മറ്റു വിളകളുടെ നാശനഷ്ടക്കണക്ക്.
According to preliminary information, the heavy rains in the last few days have caused crop damage of Rs 32.81 crore in the district. Crops such as banana, paddy, vegetables and tapioca were severely affected by the rains. 575.74 hectares of banana, 69.36 hectares of paddy and 179.99 ha of vegetable cultivation were affected by the heavy rains. 160.64 ha of tapioca and 8.20 ha of other potato crops were destroyed by the rains. Other crops affected were 5.80 ha of rubber, 4.62 hectares of ginger, 2.80 ha of betel, 2.08 hectares of coconut and 1.52 hectares of pepper.
