പാലക്കാട്; ഭക്ഷ്യസുരക്ഷയുടെ ഭാഗമായി മത്സ്യ ഉത്പാദനം വര്‍ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനായി സംസ്ഥാന ഫിഷറീസ് വകുപ്പ് കിഴക്കഞ്ചേരി ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് മുഖേന നടപ്പാക്കുന്ന ജനകീയ മത്സ്യ കൃഷി രണ്ടാം ഘട്ട പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി മത്സ്യക്കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ വിതരണം ചെയ്തു. 2023-24 വര്‍ഷത്തേക്കുള്ള മത്സ്യക്കുഞ്ഞ് വിതരണമാണ് നടന്നത്. പഞ്ചായത്തില്‍ 7.632 ഹെക്ടറിലാണ് മത്സ്യകൃഷി ഇറക്കുന്നത്. 35 കര്‍ഷകര്‍ക്കായി 57,230 കാര്‍പ് ഇനം മത്സ്യ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ വിതരണം ചെയ്തു.
കിഴക്കഞ്ചേരി ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തില്‍ നടന്ന പരിപാടിയില്‍ ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ് കവിത മാധവന്‍ വിതരണോദ്ഘാടനം നിര്‍വഹിച്ചു. ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് വി. രാധാകൃഷ്ണന്‍ അധ്യക്ഷനായി. ആരോഗ്യ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്റ്റാന്‍ഡിങ് കമ്മിറ്റി ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ രവീന്ദ്രന്‍, ക്ഷേമകാര്യ സ്റ്റാന്‍ഡിങ് കമ്മിറ്റി ചെയര്‍പേഴ്‌സണ്‍ രതിക മണികണ്ഠന്‍, ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് സെക്രട്ടറി ഷീന, അക്വാകള്‍ച്ചര്‍ പ്രമോട്ടര്‍മാരായ കെ. കൃഷ്ണദാസ്, നിധി മോന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയവര്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു.
In order to increase fish production as a part of food security, the State Fisheries Department distributed fish fry as part of the second phase of Janakeeya Matsya Krishi project implemented by the Kishkancherry Gram Panchayat. The distribution of fry for the year 2023-24 was held. 7.632 hectares of fish farming in the panchayat. 57,230 carp fry were distributed to 35 farmers.
Kavita Madhavan, President of the Gram Panchayat, inaugurated the distribution in the program held at the Kishkancheri Gram Panchayat. Gram Panchayat Vice President V. Radhakrishnan presided. Health Education Standing Committee Chairman Ravindran, Welfare Standing Committee Chairperson Ratika Manikandan, Gram Panchayat Secretary Sheena, Aquaculture Promoters K. Krishnadas, Nidhi Mon and others participated.
