ഇന്നും നാളെയും ഗൾഫ് ഓഫ് മാന്നാർ, തമിഴ്നാട് തീരം എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ മണിക്കൂറിൽ 40 മുതൽ 50 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ വേഗതയിൽ വീശിയടിച്ചേക്കാവുന്ന കാറ്റിന് സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥാ വകുപ്പ് അറിയിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ കേരളം, ലക്ഷദ്വീപ്, കർണാടക തീരങ്ങളിൽ മത്സ്യബന്ധനം തടസ്സമില്ല. കൂടാതെ ആന്ധ്ര തീരത്തോട് ചേർന്നുള്ള മധ്യ പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ ബംഗാൾ ഉൾക്കടൽ, ആൻഡമാൻ കടൽ എന്നീ സമുദ്ര ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ മണിക്കൂറിൽ അഞ്ചുമുതൽ 45 മുതൽ 55 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ വേഗതയിൽ വീശിയടിച്ച ക്കാവുന്ന കാറ്റിനു മോശം കാലാവസ്ഥയ്ക്കും സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്.
