ഇന്ന് കേരളത്തിൽ എല്ലാ ജില്ലകളിലും പച്ച അലർട്ട് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. തൃശ്ശൂർ, പാലക്കാട്, കണ്ണൂർ കാസർഗോഡ് തുടങ്ങിയ ജില്ലകളിൽ ചെറിയതോതിൽ ഇന്ന് മഴ ലഭിക്കും. മറ്റു ജില്ലകളിൽ എല്ലാം ശക്തമായ രീതിയിൽ മഴ ലഭിക്കുമെന്നാണ് കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥ വകുപ്പ് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.

അന്തരീക്ഷം മേഘാവൃതമായി കാണപ്പെടുന്നതാണ്. കേരള,ലക്ഷദ്വീപ് പ്രദേശത്ത് മോശം കാലാവസ്ഥയ്ക്കും 45 മുതൽ 55 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ വേഗതയിൽ ശക്തമായ കാറ്റിനും സാധ്യതയുള്ളതായി വകുപ്പ് അറിയിച്ചു. തെക്കുകിഴക്കൻ അറബിക്കടലിലും ലക്ഷദ്വീപ്- മാലിദീപ് ദേശങ്ങളിലും മണിക്കൂറിൽ 45 മുതൽ 55 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ വേഗതയിൽ കാറ്റിനും മോശം കാലാവസ്ഥയ്ക്കും ഇന്ന് സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്. ശ്രീലങ്കക്ക് തെക്ക്-പടിഞ്ഞാറ് രൂപപ്പെട്ട ന്യൂനമർദ്ദം ശക്തികുറഞ്ഞ ചക്രവാത ചുഴിയായി മാറിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
Green alert has been declared in all districts of Kerala today. Districts like Thrissur, Palakkad, Kannur and Kasaragod will receive light rainfall today. The Central Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains in all the other districts. The atmosphere will be cloudy. The department said that there is a possibility of bad weather and strong winds of 45 to 55 kmph in Kerala and Lakshadweep. The south-eastern Arabian Sea and the Lakshadweep-Maldives region are likely to experience strong winds of 45 to 55 kmph today.
എന്നാലും ഞായറാഴ്ച വരെ കേരളത്തിൻറെ ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട ഇടങ്ങളിൽ മഴയ്ക്ക് സാധ്യത കൂടുന്നു.
ഇടുക്കി,വയനാട് തുടങ്ങിയ ജില്ലകളിൽ കൂടുതൽ മഞ്ഞ് അനുഭവപ്പെടാം.അന്തരീക്ഷം മേഘാവൃതമായി കാണുമ്പോൾ തന്നെ എല്ലാവരും സുരക്ഷിതമായ സ്ഥലത്തേക്ക് മാറി ഇരിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുക. ഈ സമയങ്ങളിൽ ഇടിമിന്നലിനു ഉള്ള സാധ്യത വളരെ കൂടുതലാണ്.
