കയർ ഭൂവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ച് അണിഞ്ഞൊരുങ്ങി ഇന്ദ്രാംചിറ

തൃശ്ശൂർ: നഗരസഞ്ചയ പദ്ധതിയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തി 1.53 കോടി രൂപ ചെലവ് ചെയ്ത് നിർമ്മാണം അവസാനഘട്ടത്തിലെത്തിയ എളവള്ളി പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ ഇന്ദ്രാം ചിറയ്ക്ക് കയർ ഭൂവസ്ത്രം അണിയിച്ചു.

ദേശീയ ഗ്രാമീണ തൊഴിലുറപ്പ് പദ്ധതിയുടെ അമൃത് സരോവർ പദ്ധതിയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയാണ് നവീകരണം. ചിറയുടെ നടുഭാഗത്തെ ചളി മാറ്റം ചെയ്ത് വൃത്തിയാക്കി 2.5 മീറ്റർ വീതിയും 40 മീറ്റർ നീളവുമുള്ള 13 കയർ ഭൂവസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ചാണ് സംരക്ഷണം ഒരുക്കിയത്. പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗമായി 275 തൊഴിൽ ദിനം സൃഷ്ടിച്ചാണ് പദ്ധതി നടപ്പിലാക്കായിത്.

ഇന്ദ്രാം ചിറയുടെ സംരക്ഷണം പൂർത്തീകരിക്കുന്നതോടെ സമീപത്തെ എല്ലാ കിണറുകളും റീച്ചാർജ് ചെയ്യപ്പെടുമെന്നും ടൂറിസം സാധ്യതകൾക്ക് കൂടി വഴിയൊരുക്കുമെന്നും പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡണ്ട് ജിയോ ഫോക്സ് അറിയിച്ചു. തൊഴിലുറപ്പ് പദ്ധതി എൻജിനീയർ സി എസ് ശ്രുതിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലാണ് തൊഴിലാളികൾ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചത്.

Thrissur: Indram Chira of Elavalli panchayat, whose construction has reached the final stage after spending 1.53 crore rupees under the Urban Development Project, has been covered with rope.

The upgrade is included in the Amrit Sarovar scheme of the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. The mud in the middle of the chira was changed and cleaned and protection was provided by using 13 rope earth cloths 2.5 m wide and 40 m long. The project was implemented by creating 275 working days as part of the activities.

Panchayat President Geo Fox informed that with the completion of the protection of Indram Chira, all the nearby wells will be recharged and will pave the way for tourism opportunities. The workers worked under the leadership of CS Shruti, Engineer of the Employment Guarantee Scheme.
