പാലക്കാട്: ജില്ലയില്‍ ഭക്ഷ്യസുരക്ഷാ വകുപ്പും പാലക്കാട് നഗരസഭ ആരോഗ്യ വിഭാഗവും സംയുക്തമായി മത്സ്യ മാര്‍ക്കറ്റുകള്‍ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയില്‍ 35 കിലോയോളം പഴകിയ മത്സ്യങ്ങള്‍ കണ്ടെത്തി നശിപ്പിച്ചു.
പാലക്കാട് മീന്‍ മാര്‍ക്കറ്റിലും പാലക്കാട് ബി.ഒ.സി റോഡിലെ ഹൈടെക് ഫിഷ് മാര്‍ക്കറ്റിലുമാണ് പരിശോധന നടത്തിയത്. 18 മത്സ്യ വില്‍പനസ്ഥാപനങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് 32 സാമ്പിളുകള്‍ മൊബൈല്‍ ഭക്ഷ്യ പരിശോധന ലാബിന്റെ സഹായത്തോടെ പരിശോധനക്ക് വിധേയമാക്കി.
അടുത്ത ദിവസങ്ങളിലും പരിശോധന തുടരും. പരിശോധനയില്‍ ഫുഡ് സേഫ്റ്റി ഓഫീസര്‍മാരായ എസ്. നയന ലക്ഷ്മി, എ.എം ഹാസില, ഒ.പി നന്ദകിഷോര്‍, ടി.എച്ച് ഹിഷാം അബ്ദുള്ള, പാലക്കാട് നഗരസഭ ഡിവിഷന്‍ 2 ഹെല്‍ത്ത് ഇന്‍സ്‌പെക്ടര്‍ ഇ.വി അനില്‍ കുമാര്‍, പബ്ലിക് ഹെല്‍ത്ത് ഇന്‍സ്പെക്ടര്‍മാരായ ജിതേഷ് ബാബു, എസ്. ബിജു, ശ്രീജ എന്നിവര്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു.
Palakkad: In the district food safety department and Palakkad municipal health department jointly conducted an inspection focused on fish markets and destroyed about 35 kg of old fish. The inspection was conducted at Palakkad Fish Market and Palakkad BOC Road Hi-Tech Fish Market. 32 samples from 18 fish vendors were tested with the help of mobile food testing lab.
The inspection will continue in the coming days. During the inspection, food safety officers S. Nayana Lakshmi, AM Hasila, OP Nandakishore, TH Hisham Abdullah, Palakkad Municipality Division 2 Health Inspector EV Anil Kumar, Public Health Inspectors Jitesh Babu, S. Biju and Sreeja participated.
