കോവിഡ് പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിൽ ഓരോ ചാക്ക് കാലിത്തീറ്റയ്ക്കും 70 രൂപ സബ്സിഡി അനുവദിക്കാൻ മിൽമ ഭരണസമിതി യോഗം തീരുമാനിച്ചു.

മിൽമയുടെ എല്ലാത്തരം കാലിത്തീറ്റകൾക്കും ജനുവരി ഒന്നു മുതലാണ് സബ്സിഡി ലഭിക്കുക. കോവിഡ് പ്രതിസന്ധിയെത്തുടർന്ന് ക്ഷീരകർഷകർ അനുഭവിക്കുന്ന ബുദ്ധിമുട്ട് കണക്കിലെടുത്ത് 50 കിലോയുടെ ചാക്കിന് 40 രൂപ സബ്‌സിഡി നൽകിവരുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇത് ഉൾപ്പെടെയാണ് സബ്‌സിഡി 70 രൂപയാക്കി ഉയർത്താൻ ഭരണസമിതിയോഗം തീരുമാനിച്ചത്.
