ജാഗ്രതാ നിർദ്ദേശങ്ങൾ പാലിക്കണം

ഏപ്രിൽ 17 വരെ കേരളത്തിൽ ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട ഇടങ്ങളിൽ മണിക്കൂറിൽ 30 മുതൽ 40 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ വേഗതയിൽ വീശിയടിച്ചേക്കാവുന്ന കാറ്റിനും ശക്തമായ മിന്നലോടുകൂടിയ മഴയ്ക്കും സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥാ വകുപ്പ് അറിയിച്ചു. രണ്ടുമണിമുതൽ 10 മണി വരെയുള്ള സമയത്ത് ഇടിമിന്നലിനു ഉള്ള സാധ്യത കൂടുതലാണ്. ഇടിമിന്നൽ മനുഷ്യന്റെയും മൃഗങ്ങളുടെയും ജീവനും വൈദ്യുത ആശയവിനിമയ ശൃംഖല കൾക്കും, വൈദ്യുത ജാലകങ്ങളും ആയി ബന്ധിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള വീട്ടുപകരണങ്ങൾക്കും വലിയ നാശനഷ്ടം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു

The Central Meteorological Department has forecast isolated places in Kerala till April 17 with winds of 30 to 40 kmph and strong thundershowers. The risk of thunderstorms is high between 2 and 10 p.m. Precautions should be taken by the public from the moment the thunderstorm begins, as lightning can cause great damage to human and animal life, as well as electrical communications and appliances connected to electrical windows. Do not take precautions thinking that the lightning is not visible

ആയതിനാൽ പൊതുജനങ്ങൾ മുൻകരുതൽ കാർമേഘം കണ്ടു തുടങ്ങുന്ന സമയം മുതൽ തന്നെ സ്വീകരിക്കേണ്ടതാണ്. ഇടിമിന്നൽ ദൃശ്യമല്ല എന്നുകരുതി മുൻകരുതൽ സ്വീകരിക്കാതെ ഇരിക്കരുത്.
