ഇന്ന് തെക്ക് കിഴക്ക് ബംഗാൾ ഉൾക്കടലിലും, അതിനോട് ചേർന്നുള്ള തെക്ക് ആൻഡമാനിലും മണിക്കൂറിൽ 40 മുതൽ 50 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ വേഗതയിൽ വീശിയടിച്ചേക്കാവുന്ന കാറ്റിനും,മോശം കാലാവസ്ഥയ്ക്കും സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥാ വകുപ്പ് അറിയിച്ചു. നാളെ ആൻഡമാൻ കടലിലും, അതിനോട് ചേർന്നുള്ള കിഴക്ക് ബംഗാൾ ഉൾക്കടലിലും 50 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ വേഗതയിൽ വീശിയടിച്ചക്കാവുന്ന കാറ്റിനും സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്.

The Central Meteorological Department has forecast strong winds of 40 to 50 kmph in the south-eastern Bay of Bengal and the adjoining southern Andamans today. Tomorrow, strong winds of up to 50 kmph are expected in the Andaman Sea and the adjoining East Bengal Bay. But fishing is not restricted along the coasts of Kerala, Lakshadweep and Karnataka.

പക്ഷേ കേരളം,ലക്ഷദ്വീപ്, കർണാടക കർണാടക തീരങ്ങളിൽ മത്സ്യബന്ധനത്തിന് തടസ്സമില്ല.
