കാര്‍ഷിക മേഖലയെ സ്വയംപര്യാപ്തമാക്കുന്നതിന് കാര്‍ഷിക പദ്ധതികള്‍ക്ക് ഊന്നല്‍ നല്‍കി മതിലകം ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്തിന്റെ വാര്‍ഷിക ബഡ്ജറ്റ്. 14,80,69,000 രൂപ വരവും 14,70,69,000 ചെലവും പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ബഡ്ജറ്റാണ് ബ്ലോക്ക് വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് സി എസ് സലീഷ് അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്.
എടത്തിരുത്തി ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തില്‍ തരിശ് കിടക്കുന്ന നിലങ്ങള്‍ കണ്ടെത്തി നെല്‍കൃഷിയും ഇടവിളകളും ഇറക്കുന്നതിന് പ്രാദേശിക സഹകരണത്തോടെ പദ്ധതികള്‍ നടപ്പാക്കും.
Annual Budget of Mathilakam Block Panchayat with emphasis on agricultural projects to make the agricultural sector self-sufficient. Block Vice President CS Salish presented the budget with an expected revenue of Rs 14,80,69,000 and expenditure of Rs 14,70,69,000.
ബ്ലോക്ക് പരിധിയില്‍ തൊഴിലും വരുമാനവും വര്‍ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിന് തഴപ്പായ, കയര്‍, രാമച്ചം എന്നിവയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട യൂണിറ്റുകള്‍ക്ക് പ്രത്യേക പരിഗണന നല്‍കും. പെരുംതോട്-വലിയതോട് സമഗ്രവികസനം, പട്ടികജാതി കോളനി വികസനം എന്നിവയ്ക്കും പൊതുജലാശയങ്ങള്‍ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിനും ബഡ്ജറ്റില്‍ പ്രാധാന്യം നല്‍കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
പെരിഞ്ഞനം സാമൂഹികാരോഗ്യ കേന്ദ്രത്തെ താലൂക്കാശുപത്രിയുടെ നിലവാരത്തിലേയ്ക്ക് ഉയര്‍ത്താനുള്ള പദ്ധതികളും ആസൂത്രണം ചെയ്യും. കൂടാതെ മൃഗസംരക്ഷണം, ഭവന പദ്ധതി, അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യ വികസനം എന്നിവക്കും പരിഗണന നല്‍കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
In Edathiruthi Grama Panchayat, projects will be implemented in collaboration with the locals to identify fallow lands and plant paddy and intercrops. Special consideration will be given to units related to tarpaulin, coir and ramacham to increase employment and income within the block limits. The budget has given priority to the comprehensive development of Perumthodu-Valiyathodu, the development of Scheduled Caste colonies and the protection of public water bodies.
Plans are also afoot to upgrade the Perinjanam Community Health Center to the level of a Taluk Hospital. In addition, consideration has been given to animal husbandry, housing and infrastructure development.
