തൃശ്ശൂർ: കൊട്ടേക്കാട് സി ബി പി എസ് സ്‌കൂളിനെ ഹരിത വിദ്യാലയമായി നവംബര്‍ 24ന് പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കും. രാവിലെ 10ന് ജില്ലാ പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ് പി കെ ഡേവിസ് മാസ്റ്റര്‍ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്യും. 'നവകേരളം വൃത്തിയുള്ള കേരളം' എന്ന സന്ദേശം വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികളിലൂടെ സമൂഹത്തിലേക്ക് എത്തിക്കുന്നതിനായി നവകേരളം കര്‍മ്മപദ്ധതി രണ്ടില്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തി ഹരിതകേരളം മിഷന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ ജില്ലയിലെ മുഴുവന്‍ സ്‌കൂളുകളിലും പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ നടന്നു വരികയാണ്.
പൊതുശുചിത്വം, മാലിന്യ സംസ്‌കരണം, ജലസംരക്ഷണം, ഊര്‍ജ്ജ സംരക്ഷണം, കൃഷി, പരിസ്ഥിതി സംരക്ഷണം എന്നീ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളിലെ മികവിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് സ്‌കൂളിനെ ഹരിത വിദ്യാലയമായി തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തത്. കോലഴി ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ലക്ഷ്മി വിശ്വംഭരന്‍ അധ്യക്ഷയാകും. നവകേരളം കര്‍മ്മ പദ്ധതി ജില്ലാ കോഡിനേറ്റര്‍ സി ദിദിക വിഷയാവതരണം നടത്തും.
ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് എം ഡി വികാസ് രാജ്, സ്‌കൂള്‍ മാനേജര്‍ സിസ്റ്റര്‍ പ്രീമാ, പ്രധാന അധ്യാപിക സിസ്റ്റര്‍ റീജ തെരേസ, ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് സ്റ്റാന്‍ഡിങ് കമ്മിറ്റി ചെയര്‍പേഴ്‌സണ്‍ ഉഷാ രവീന്ദ്രന്‍, വാര്‍ഡ് മെമ്പര്‍ പി എ ലോനപ്പന്‍, ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് സെക്രട്ടറി രേഖ ബി നായര്‍, പിടിഎ പ്രസിഡന്റ് ലിന്റോ കോളങ്ങാടന്‍, സ്റ്റാഫ് സെക്രട്ടറി സി എ ബീന തുടങ്ങിയവര്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കും.
Thrissur: Kottekkad CBPS School will be declared a Haritha Vidhyalaya on November 24. Zilla Panchayat President PK Davis sir will inaugurate at 10 am. In order to convey the message of 'New Kerala Clean Kerala' to the society through the students, activities are being carried out in all the schools of the district under the leadership of the Harita Keralam Mission, which has been included in the second part of the New Kerala Action Plan.
The school has been selected as a Haritha Vidhyalaya based on its excellence in public sanitation, waste management, water conservation, energy conservation, agriculture and environmental protection. Kolazhi gram panchayat president Lakshmi Vishwambharan will preside. Navakeralam Karma Project District Coordinator C Didika will make a presentation on the topic.
