തെക്ക് കിഴക്ക് അറബികടലിനോട് ചേർന്ന് ഉള്ള കേരളതീരത്ത് മണിക്കൂറിൽ 40 മുതൽ 50 കിലോമീറ്റർ വേഗത്തിൽ വീശിയടിച്ചേക്കാവുന്ന ശക്തമായ കാറ്റിനും മോശം കാലാവസ്ഥയ്ക്കും സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്. പ്രസ്തുത പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ മത്സ്യതൊഴിലാളികൾ മത്സ്യബന്ധനത്തിനായി പോകാൻ പാടുള്ളതല്ല. കേരളത്തിൽ ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട ഇടങ്ങളിൽ ഏപ്രിൽ 24 വരെ 30 മുതൽ 40 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ വേഗതയിൽ വീശിയടിച്ചേക്കാവുന്ന കാറ്റിനും ഇടിമിന്നലോടുകൂടിയ മഴയ്ക്ക് സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥാ വകുപ്പ് അറിയിച്ചു
