ഭർത്താവ് മരിച്ചുപോയ സ്ത്രീകൾ, ഭർത്താവിനാൽ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടവർ, നിയമാനുസൃതം വിവാഹബന്ധം വേർപെടുത്തിയ സ്ത്രീകൾ, മുപ്പതുവയസ് കഴിഞ്ഞ അവിവാഹിതകൾ എന്നീ വിഭാഗങ്ങളിൽപ്പെട്ടവരുടെ അപേക്ഷകളാണ് പരിഗണിച്ചത്. അപേക്ഷകർക്ക് 50,000 രൂപ വീതമാണ് വായ്പ നൽകുകയെന്ന് ജില്ലാ എംപ്ലോയ്മെന്റ് ഓഫീസർ ജി. ജയശങ്കർ പ്രസാദ് പറഞ്ഞു. വായ്പയ്ക്ക് 50 ശതമാനം സബ്സിഡിയുണ്ട്.
ആട് വളർത്തൽ, കോഴി വളർത്തൽ, തയ്യൽ, പലഹാര നിർമാണം തുടങ്ങിയ ചെറുകിട സംരംഭങ്ങൾ ആരംഭിക്കുന്നതിനായാണ് ശരണ്യസ്വയം തൊഴിൽ പദ്ധതിപ്രകാരം വായ്പ നൽകുന്നത്. പദ്ധതിതുകയുടെ അമ്പതുശതമാനം വായ്പയും ബാക്കി സബ്സിഡിയുമാണ്. 2020-21 സാമ്പത്തിക വർഷം പദ്ധതിയിലൂടെ 125 പേർക്കായി 61,97,000 രൂപ അനുവദിച്ചു. 2021-22 വർഷം 50 പേർക്കായി 25,30,000 രൂപ അനുവദിച്ചു.

Kottayam: Approval for sanction of loan of `56.50 lakh for 113 persons through employment exchange under Saranya Self Employment Scheme. The Saranya Self-Employment Scheme at the District Employment Exchange was approved by the District Committee meeting.
Applications were considered for widows, lawful divorcees, and unmarried women over 30 years of age. The loan of Rs 50,000 each will be given to the applicants. Jayashankar Prasad said. 50% of the loan be subsidized.
The Saranya swamyam Self-Employment Scheme provides loans for small-scale enterprises such as goat rearing, poultry rearing, tailoring and confectionery manufacturing. Fifty percent of the project cost is a loan and the rest is a subsidy. An amount of 61,97,000 has been sanctioned for 125 persons under the scheme for the financial year 2020-21. An amount of 25,30,000 has been sanctioned for 50 persons for the year 2021-22.
