ഇന്നും നാളെയും തിരുവനന്തപുരം കൊല്ലം ജില്ലകളിൽ മഴയ്ക്ക് സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥ വകുപ്പ് റിപ്പോർട്ട്. ഈ ജില്ലകളിൽ പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്ന മഴയുടെ തോത് 15.6-64.4 mm ആണ്.

ഗൾഫ് ഓഫ് മാന്നാർ കന്യാകുമാരി പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ വടക്കുകിഴക്ക് ദിശയിൽ മണിക്കൂറിൽ 40 മുതൽ 50 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ വേഗതയിൽ ശക്തമായ കാറ്റിനും സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്.

കേരളം, കർണാടക, ലക്ഷദ്വീപ് തീരങ്ങളിൽ മത്സ്യബന്ധനത്തിന് തടസ്സമില്ലെന്ന് കാലാവസ്ഥ വകുപ്പ്. ഫെബ്രുവരി ആദ്യവാരം ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട ഇടങ്ങളിൽ മഴയ്ക്ക് സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്.

The Central Meteorological Department has forecast showers in Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam districts today and tomorrow. The expected rainfall in these districts is 15.6-64.4 mm. Strong winds of 40 to 50 kmph are also expected in the Gulf of Mannar and Kanyakumari areas in a northeasterly direction. Fishing off Kerala, Karnataka and Lakshadweep coasts: Meteorological Department Isolated showers are likely in the first week of February.
