ഹോസ്റ്റലുകളിലെ ഭക്ഷ്യസുരക്ഷ ഉറപ്പാക്കാൻ 'ഓപ്പറേഷൻ ഫിഷ്'

സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ ഹോസ്റ്റലുകളിലെ ഭക്ഷണ-കുടിവെള്ള നിലവാരം സംബന്ധിച്ച് ലഭിച്ച പരാതിയിൻമേൽ നടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കാൻ ഭക്ഷ്യ സുരക്ഷാ കമ്മീഷണർക്ക് സംസ്ഥാന യുവജന കമ്മീഷൻ നിർദേശം നൽകി. ഇതേതുടർന്ന് ഹോസ്റ്റലുകളിലെ ശുചിത്വ മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങൾ ഉറപ്പുവരുത്താൻ 'ഓപ്പറേഷൻ ഫിഷ്' പദ്ധതി നടപ്പിലാക്കാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചതായും പരിശോധനയ്ക്ക് സ്ക്വാഡുകൾ രൂപീകരിച്ചതായും ഭക്ഷ്യ വകുപ്പ് അറിയിച്ചു.

The State Youth Commission has directed the Food Safety Commissioner to take action on complaints received regarding food and drinking water quality in various hostels in the state. Following this, the food department said it had decided to implement 'Operation Fish' to ensure the hygiene standards in hostels and formed squads for inspection. This was announced by Youth Commission member KP Shajeera at a sitting held at Kasargod guest house. Investigations are underway in the district. Hostels without registration are also advised to take registration. The food department said hostels have been instructed to inspect the water quality every six months and keep the certificate.

കാസർകോട് അതിഥി മന്ദിരത്തിൽനടന്ന സിറ്റിങ്ങിൽ യുവജന കമ്മീഷൻ അംഗം കെ.പി ഷജീറയാണ് ഇക്കാര്യം അറിയിച്ചത്. ജില്ലയിൽ ഇത് സംബന്ധിച്ച പരിശോധനകൾ നടന്നു വരികയാണ്.

രജിസ്ട്രേഷൻ ഇല്ലാത്ത ഹോസ്റ്റലുകൾക്ക് രജിസ്ട്രേഷൻ എടുക്കാനും നിർദേശം നൽകി. വെള്ളത്തിന്റെ ഗുണനിലവാരം ഉറപ്പാക്കാൻ ആറ് മാസം കൂടുമ്പോൾ പരിശോധന നടത്തി സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് സൂക്ഷക്കുവാനും ഹോസ്റ്റലുകൾക്ക് നിർദ്ദേശം നൽകിയതായി ഭക്ഷ്യ വകുപ്പ് അറിയിച്ചു.
