ഒമ്പതാം തീയതി വരെ ഗൾഫ് ഓഫ് മാന്നാർ, കന്യാകുമാരി പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ വടക്കുകിഴക്ക് ദിശയിൽ മണിക്കൂറിൽ 45 മുതൽ 55 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ വേഗതയിൽ ശക്തമായ കാറ്റിന് സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥാ വകുപ്പ്.

കേരളത്തിൽ ഇന്ന് പ്രസന്നമായ കാലാവസ്ഥ ആയിരിക്കും. കേരളം, കർണാടക, ലക്ഷദ്വീപ് തീരങ്ങളിൽ മത്സ്യബന്ധനം തടസ്സമില്ല.
