പൊക്കാളി കൃഷി കൊയ്ത്തുത്സവവുമായി വൈപ്പിൻ ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്ത്

എറണാകുളം: സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാരിൻ്റെ ഞങ്ങളും കൃഷിയിലേക്ക് പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി വൈപ്പിൻ ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്തിൻ്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ ആരംഭിച്ച പൊക്കാളി കൃഷിയുടെ കൊയ്ത്തുത്സവം നടത്തി. സംവിധായകൻ ജിബു ജേക്കബ് കൊയ്ത്തുത്സവം ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു.

കാർഷിക സർവ്വകലാശാലയിലെ അവസാന വർഷ ബിരുദ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളും കൊയ്ത്തുത്സവത്തിൽ പങ്കു ചേർന്നു. പഠനത്തിൻ്റെ ഭാഗമായി 97 പേരടങ്ങുന്ന സംഘമാണ് വൈപ്പിൻ കരയുടെ തനത് കാർഷിക വിളയായ പൊക്കാളികൃഷിയെ അറിയാനും കൃഷിയിൽ പങ്കുചേരാനും വന്നത്. വിദ്യാർത്ഥിൾക്കും അധ്യാപകർക്കും ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്ത് പൊക്കാളി അരി കൊണ്ടുള്ള കഞ്ഞി ഒരുക്കിയിരുന്നു.

ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്ത് ഭരണ സമിതിയുടെയും ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരുടെയും നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള ഗ്രൂപ്പ്, അഞ്ച് ഏക്കർ സ്ഥലത്താണ് പൊക്കാളി കൃഷി ആരംഭിച്ചത്. ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡൻ്റ് തുളസി സോമൻ അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ച ചടങ്ങിൽ വൈസ് പ്രസിഡൻ്റ് കെ.എ സാജിത്ത്,ജില്ലാ പഞ്ചായത്ത് അംഗം എം.ബി ഷൈനി, കൃഷി വകുപ്പ് ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി ഡയക്ടർ അനിത ജെയിംസ്, ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്ത് അംഗങ്ങൾ, നിലം ഉടമ ഹാഷിം വലിയ വീട്ടിൽ, കർഷകർ തുടങ്ങിയവർ പങ്കെടുത്തു.

Ernakulam: As a part of the state government's 'Njangalum Krishiyilekk' project, a harvest festival of Pokali Krishi was held under the leadership of Vypin Block Panchayat. Director Jibu Jacob inaugurated the harvest festival.

The final year graduate students of the Agricultural University also participated in the harvest festival. As part of the study, a group of 97 people came to learn about Pokali farming, a unique agricultural crop of Vypin Kara, and to participate in farming. The block panchayat had prepared pokali rice porridge for the students and teachers.

The group, led by Block Panchayat Bharana Samiti and officials, started Pokali cultivation on five acres of land. The function was presided over by Block Panchayat President Tulasi Soman, Vice President KA Sajith, District Panchayat Member MB Shiny, Deputy Director of Agriculture Department Anita James, Block Panchayat members, Land owner Hashim Valiya, farmers and others participated.
