കേരളത്തിൽ ഇന്ന് ഒറ്റപെട്ട മഴയ്ക്ക് സാധ്യത

കേരളത്തിൽ ഇന്ന് അങ്ങിങ്ങായി ഇടിയോടു കൂടിയ വേനൽമഴ ലഭിക്കും. കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം പത്തനംതിട്ട, വയനാട് ജില്ലകളിലും ആലപ്പുഴ, കൊല്ലം ജില്ലകളുടെ ചില മേഖലകളിലും മഴ ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഇന്ന് കൊല്ലം, പത്തനംതിട്ട, എറണാകുളം, ഇടുക്കി, തൃശൂർ, മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലകളിൽ ഏതാനും ഇടങ്ങളിലും പാലക്കാട്‌, കോഴിക്കോട്, കണ്ണൂർ, വയനാട്, കാസറഗോഡ് ജില്ലകളിൽ ചില ഇടങ്ങളിലും നേരിയ തോതിലോ ഇടത്തരമോ ആയ മഴ ലഭിക്കും.

കേരളത്തിൽ വേനൽ ചൂടിന് ആശ്വാസമാകുന്ന തരത്തിൽ പരക്കെ ഉള്ള വേനൽ മഴയ്ക്ക് ഇനിയും കാത്തിരിക്കേണ്ടി വരും. മാർച്ച്‌ അവസാന ദിവസങ്ങളിലൊ ഏപ്രിൽ ആദ്യവാരാമോ ആയി കൂടുതൽ മഴ പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാം. ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ മഴ ഏതാനും ചില പ്രദേശങ്ങൾ മാത്രം കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ചായിരിക്കും.

Kerala will receive summer rains with occasional thundershowers today. Last day, Pathanamthitta and Wayanad districts and some areas of Alappuzha and Kollam districts received rain. Today, light to moderate rain will occur at a few places in Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur and Malappuram districts and at some places in Palakkad, Kozhikode, Kannur, Wayanad and Kasaragod districts.

Kerala will have to wait for widespread summer rains to relieve the summer heat. More rain can be expected in the last days of March or the first week of April. The current rains will be concentrated in a few areas only.
