ജനുവരി രണ്ടാം വാരം മുതൽ കേരളത്തിൽ ശരാശരിക്കു മുകളിൽ മഴ ലഭിക്കും.

ഇന്ന് കേരളത്തിൽ പല ജില്ലകളിലും മിതമായ രീതിയിൽ മഴ ലഭിക്കാൻ സാധ്യത. ഇന്ന് മഴക്ക് കൂടുതൽ സാധ്യതയുള്ള ജില്ലകൾ തിരുവനന്തപുരം, കൊല്ലം, പത്തനംതിട്ട, കോട്ടയം, എറണാകുളം, ഇടുക്കി, തൃശൂർ, പാലക്കാട്, കോഴിക്കോട് വയനാട്.

മറ്റു ജില്ലകളിൽ ഇന്ന് മഴയ്ക്ക് സാധ്യതയില്ല. ജനുവരി 5, 6 തീയതികളിൽ കേരളത്തിൽ പലയിടത്തും ശക്തമായ മഴ ലഭിക്കും. പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലയിൽ ജനുവരി ആറിന് യെല്ലോ അലർട്ട് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

Many districts in Kerala are likely to receive moderate rainfall today. The rainiest districts today are Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad, Kozhikode and Wayanad. There is no chance of rain in other districts today. 

Heavy rains are expected in many parts of Kerala on January 5 and 6. Especially in Idukki district, a yellow alert has been declared for January 6. The hinterland of Tamil Nadu will also receive showers from Monday. The Central Meteorological Department has forecast above average rainfall for the second week of January.
