സമയം നോക്കാതെ പണിയെടുക്കുന്ന റോബോട്ടിക് കര്‍ഷക തൊഴിലാളികള്‍ വരുന്നു

റിപ്പ(RIPPA) ഒരു കര്‍ഷകതൊഴിലാളിയാണ്. സമയം നോക്കാതെ കൃഷിയിടത്തില്‍ പണിയെടുക്കൊന്നൊരാള്‍. പണ്ട്, അടിമത്തം നിലനിന്നിരുന്ന കാലത്തുമാത്രമാണ് ഇത്തരം തൊഴിലാളികള്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. പക്ഷെ ,റിപ്പയ്ക്ക് ജീവന്‍ നല്‍കുന്നത് ശരീരത്തില്‍ ഘടിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന സോളാര്‍ പാനലുകളാണെന്നുമാത്രം. അതെ, റിപ്പ കൃഷിയിടത്തിലേക്കിറങ്ങിയ സൗരോര്‍ജ്ജത്തില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന ഇലക്ട്രിക് റോബോട്ടാണ്. വരുംകാല ഫാമുകളിലെ ഒരു നിത്യകാഴ്ചയാവും റിപ്പയെപോലുള്ള റോബോട്ടുകള്‍. ആസ്‌ട്രേലിയയിലും അമേരിക്കയിലുമൊക്കെ യന്ത്രമനുഷ്യര്‍ വ്യാപകമായി കഴിഞ്ഞു. ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ സേവന മേഖലയില്‍ ചെറിയ തോതില്‍ തുടങ്ങിയിട്ടേയുള്ളു. മനുഷ്യരെ ലഭിക്കാന്‍ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുള്ള മേഖലകളിലൊന്ന് എന്ന നിലയിലാണ് ഫാമുകള്‍ ഇവര്‍ കൈയ്യടക്കുന്നത്. പച്ചക്കറി ഫാമുകളിലാണ് ഇവയെ ഉപയോഗിച്ചു തുടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.

സാങ്കേതിക സഹായവും

ചെടിയുടെ ആരോഗ്യം, വളര്‍ച്ച, കീടങ്ങളുടെ സാന്നിധ്യം എന്നിവ മനസിലാക്കി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നതിനുപുറമെ കളകള്‍ പറിച്ചുകളയാനും കൃത്യമായ സ്‌പ്രേയിംഗ് നടത്താനും മണ്ണിന്റെ സാമ്പിള്‍ എടുക്കാനും അനാവശ്യ വസ്തുക്കളെ നീക്കം ചെയ്യാനും റിപ്പയ്ക്ക് കഴിയും. തൊഴിലാളികളുടെ അഭാവം, ഉത്പ്പാദനകുറവ്, പാരിസ്ഥിതിക പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ എന്നിവയ്‌ക്കെല്ലാം മറുമരുന്നായി നമുക്കിതിനെ കാണാം. ഓരോ സസ്യത്തെയും മൃഗത്തെയും മരത്തെയും കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് പരിഹാരം നിര്‍ദ്ദേശിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയും എന്നതാണ് റോബോട്ട് കാല കൃഷിയുടെ പ്രത്യേകത. ഇവയിലെ ഉപകരണങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഹൈപ്പര്‍ സ്‌പെക്ട്രലും മള്‍ട്ടി സ്‌പ്രേക്ടലുമായ ചിത്രങ്ങളും ഇന്‍ഫ്രാറെഡ്,തെര്‍മല്‍,ലേസര്‍ ഡേറ്റകളും ശേഖരിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയും. അത് അനലൈസ് ചെയ്ത് പരിഹാരം നിര്‍ദ്ദേശിക്കാനും ഇവയ്ക്ക് കഴിയും. ഇവയിലെ പ്രിസിഷന്‍ നോസിലുകള്‍ വഴി കൃത്യമായ അളവില്‍ കൃത്യമായ ഇടത്തുമാത്രം കീടനാശിനിയും വളവും പ്രയോഗിക്കാം. ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ രാസവസ്തുക്കളുടെ ഉപയോഗം പരമാവധി കുറയ്ക്കാം. ഇപ്പോള്‍ വന്‍കിട കൃഷിയിടങ്ങളില്‍ മാത്രം ഉപയോഗിച്ചുവരുന്ന റോബോട്ടുകള്‍ ചെറുകിട കൃഷിമേഖലകളിലും എത്തുന്ന കാലം വിദൂരമല്ല.

ഫാമിലേക്കാവശ്യമുളള ഉത്പ്പന്നങ്ങള്‍ പറയുന്നിടത്തെത്തിക്കുന്ന റോബോട്ടാണ് സ്വാഗ്‌ബോട്ട്(Swagbot) വലിയ ഫാമുകളിലെ കന്നുകാലികളുടെ യാത്ര മോണിട്ടര്‍ ചെയ്യാനും അവരുടെ ആരോഗ്യം സംബ്ബന്ധിച്ച റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടിനും swagbot ഉപകരിക്കുന്നു.കളകളെ നീക്കം ചെയ്യുന്ന റോബോട്ടുകള്‍ വന്നതോടെ വീഡിസൈഡുകളുടെ ഉപയോഗവും ഏറെ കുറക്കാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്. റോബോട്ടുകള്‍ സാമ്പത്തിക-പാരിസ്ഥിതിക-എത്തിക്കല്‍ സങ്കല്‍പ്പങ്ങള്‍ക്കനുഗുണമായാണ് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നത് എന്നതാണ് പൊതുവെ ഇവയുടെ സ്വീകാര്യത വര്‍ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. അഗ്രി ഫുഡ് ചെയിനില്‍ ഫാമില്‍ നിന്നും ഉത്പ്പന്നങ്ങള്‍ പുറത്തെത്തിച്ച് സംസ്‌ക്കരിച്ച് റീട്ടെയില്‍ ഷെല്‍ഫിലെത്തിക്കുന്നതുവരെയും യന്ത്രമനുഷ്യര്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന കാലത്തെയാണ് ശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞര്‍ ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നത്. അതാവും വരും ദശാബ്ദം നമുക്ക് കാട്ടിത്തരുന്ന കാഴ്ചയും!!

Robotic farm labourers are coming !!

RIPPA is an agricultural worker. Someone who works on the farm without looking at the time. In the past, such workers existed only in the days of slavery. But it is only the solar panels attached to the body that give Ripa life. Yes, Ripa is an electric robot powered by solar energy that landed on the farm. Robots like Ripa will be a daily sight on future farms. Robots have become widespread in Australia and the United States. In India, robots presence is felt in the service sector only . They occupy farms as one of the hardest sector to get people to work. They are mainly being used in vegetable farms.

In addition to understanding plant health, growth, and the presence of pests, Ripa is capable of weeding, accurate spraying, sampling the soil, and removing unwanted material. We see this as an antidote to labor shortages, low productivity and environmental activity. The uniqueness of robotic farming is that the solution can be focused on each plant, animal and tree. These devices can store hyper spectral and multi-spectral images as well as infrared, thermal and laser data. They can also analyze it and suggest a solution. The precision nozzles of robots can be used to apply pesticides and fertilizers only in the right amount. In this way the use of chemicals can be minimized. The time is not far off when robots, which are now used only on large farms, will reach small farms.

Swagbot is a robot that delivers products to a farm. Swagbot can also monitor the movement of livestock on large farms and reports on their health. With the advent of weed removal robots, the use of weedicides have been greatly reduced. The general acceptance of robots is that they work in line with economic, environmental and ethycal concepts. Scientists are aiming for the time when robots will work until the products are taken out of the farm and processed on the agri food chain and put on the retail shelf. The coming decade will show us such robots which control the agri food sector !!
