തൊടുപുഴയിൽ നാളെ കാർഷികമേളയ്ക്ക് തുടക്കം

ജനുവരി നാലു മുതൽ ഏഴു വരെ തൊടുപുഴ ന്യൂമാൻ കോളേജ് ഓഡിറ്റോറിയത്തിൽ കാർഷികമേള നടക്കുന്നു. പശ്ചിമഘട്ടത്തിലെ ജൈവ വൈവിധ്യം എന്നതാണ് മുഖ്യവിഷയം.

ജനുവരി നാലിന് സ്റ്റഡി സെൻറർ ചെയർമാനും എംഎൽഎയുമായ പി ജെ ജോസഫിന് അധ്യക്ഷതയിൽ സമ്മേളനത്തിന് തുടക്കംകുറിക്കും. കേരള ബയോഡൈവേഴ്സിറ്റി മുൻ ചെയർമാൻ ഉമ്മൻ വി ഉമ്മൻ കാർഷികമേള ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്യും.

The conference will begin on January 4, chaired by Study Center Chairman and MLA PJ Joseph. Oommen V Oommen, former chairman of Kerala Biodiversity, will inaugurate the agricultural fair. The inaugural seminar on Coconut and Intercropping will be held on November 5 at the Cads Auditorium. Rubber Board Chairman PC Cyriac will inaugurate the seminar on January 6, a meeting of Trithala Panchayat members in Idukki district on decentralization and the role of people's representatives in agricultural development. There will also be a cattle show and competition from 7:30 a.m. near the Colony Vengallore Bypass at 7 p.m. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh for the first domestic cow in India. Jersey HF Sunandini Cows will be awarded Rs. 20,000 and Rs. There is also competition in the buffalo, guitar and sheep categories.

നവംബർ അഞ്ചിന് കാഡ്സ് ഓഡിറ്റോറിയത്തിൽ തെങ്ങും ഇടവിളകളും സെമിനാറിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനവും നടക്കും. ജനുവരി ആറിന് ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലയിലെ ത്രിതല പഞ്ചായത്ത് അംഗങ്ങളുടെ സംഗമം-അധികാര വികേന്ദ്രീകരണവും കാർഷിക വികസനം ജനപ്രതിനിധികൾക്ക് ഉള്ള പങ്കും സെമിനാറിന് ഉദ്ഘാടനം റബ്ബർ ബോർഡ് ചെയർമാൻ പി സി സിറിയക് നിർവഹിക്കും.

ഏഴിന് കോലാനി വെങ്ങല്ലൂർ ബൈപ്പാസിന് സമീപം രാവിലെ 8 30 മുതൽ കാലി പ്രദർശന മത്സരം ഉണ്ടാകും. ഇന്ത്യയിലെ നാടൻ പശുക്കളിൽ ഒന്നാം സ്ഥാനം ലഭിക്കുന്ന പശുവിന് ഒരു ലക്ഷം രൂപയാണ് അവാർഡ്. ജഴ്സി എച്ച്എഫ് സുനന്ദിനി പശുക്കളിൽ ഓരോ ഇനത്തിനും ഒന്ന് രണ്ട് സ്ഥാനം നേടുന്നവയ്ക്ക് 20,000 രൂപയുടെയും പതിനായിരം രൂപയുയുടെയും അവാർഡുകൾ സമ്മാനിക്കും. എരുമ, കിടാരി,ആടു വിഭാഗങ്ങളിലും മത്സരമുണ്ട്.
