പക്ഷിപ്പനി: കള്ളിംങ് പൂർത്തിയായി

ആലപ്പുഴ: ജില്ലയിൽ പക്ഷിപ്പനി സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ച എടത്വ, ചെറുതന പഞ്ചായത്തുകളിൽ പക്ഷികളെ കൊന്നു മറവുചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രധാന നടപടി (കള്ളിങ്) പൂർത്തിയായി. ചെറുതന വാർഡ് മൂന്ന്, എടത്വ വാർഡ് ഒന്നിലുമാണ് പക്ഷിപ്പനി സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്.

17,280 പക്ഷികളെയാണ് വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച വൈകുന്നേരം വരെ കള്ളിങ്ങിന് വിധേയമാക്കിയത്. എടത്വയിൽ  5,355 പക്ഷികളെയുംചെറുതനയിൽ 11,925  പക്ഷികളെയുമാണ് കൊന്നൊടുക്കിയത്.

എട്ട് ദ്രുതപ്രതികരണ സംഘങ്ങളാണ് നേതൃത്വം നൽകിയത്.

പക്ഷികളെ കൊന്നശേഷം വിറക്, ഡീസൽ, പഞ്ചസാര എന്നിവ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് നിശ്ചിത സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ കത്തിച്ച് കളയുകയാണ് ചെയ്യുന്നത്. കത്തിക്കൽ പൂർത്തിയായശേഷം പ്രത്യേക സംഘമെത്തി  അണുനശീകരണവും കോമ്പിങ്ങും നടത്തും.

Alappuzha: The main process of killing and hiding birds (culling) has been completed in Edatva and Cheruthana panchayats where bird flu has been confirmed in the district. Bird flu was confirmed in Cheruthana Ward 3 and Edatva Ward 1.

17,280 birds were subjected to culling till Friday evening. 5,355 birds were killed in Edatva and 11,925 birds in Cherutana.

Eight rapid response teams were led.

After killing the birds, they are burnt in designated places using firewood, diesel and sugar. After the burning is completed, a special team came for disinfection and combing.
