എല്ലാ ഓൺലൈൻ പോസ്റ്റ് ഓഫീസ് പാസ്‌പോർട്ട് സേവാ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിലും PCC സേവനങ്ങൾക്ക് അപേക്ഷിക്കാനുള്ള സൗകര്യം

പോലീസ് ക്ലിയറൻസ് സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റുകൾക്കായുള്ള (പിസിസി) അപേക്ഷകളുടെ പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാത്ത വർദ്ധന   പരിഹരിക്കുന്നതിനും പാസ്‌പോർട്ടുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട സേവനങ്ങൾ ഉപയോഗിക്കുമ്പോൾ പൗരന്മാരുടെ അനുഭവം മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനും, എല്ലാ ഓൺലൈൻ പോസ്റ്റ് ഓഫീസ് പാസ്‌പോർട്ട് സേവാ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിലും പിസിസി സേവനങ്ങൾക്ക് അപേക്ഷിക്കാനുള്ള സൗകര്യം ഉൾപ്പെടുത്താൻ വിദേശകാര്യ മന്ത്രാലയം തീരുമാനിച്ചു. 2022 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 28 ബുധനാഴ്ച മുതൽ ഇന്ത്യയിലുടനീളമുള്ള കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിൽ സൗകര്യം ലഭ്യമാകും.

അതനുസരിച്ച്, കൊച്ചിയിലെ റീജിയണൽ പാസ്പോര്ട്ട് ഓഫീസിന്റെ അധികാരപരിധിയിൽ വരുന്ന ചെങ്ങന്നൂർ, കട്ടപ്പന, പാലക്കാട് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലെ ഓൺലൈൻ പോസ്റ്റ് ഓഫീസ് പാസ്‌പോർട്ട് സേവാ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങൾ വഴി പൊതുജനങ്ങൾക്ക് 2022 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 28 ബുധനാഴ്ച മുതൽ പിസിസിക്ക് അപേക്ഷിക്കാം. ഈ നടപടി കൊച്ചിയിലെ ആർ‌പി‌ഒയ്ക്ക് കീഴിൽ, പി‌സി‌സി അപ്പോയിന്റ്‌മെന്റ് സ്ലോട്ടുകളുടെ ലഭ്യത നേരത്തെ ഉറപ്പാക്കും.

To address the unanticipated surge in demand for Police Clearance Certificates (PCCs) and also to improve the citizen's experience while availing passport related services, the Ministry of External Affairs has decided to include the facility to apply for PCC services at all online Post Office Passport Seva Kendras (POPSKS) across India, starting from Wednesday, 28 September, 2022.

Accordingly, general public, who are falling under the jurisdiction of RPO, Cochin, can now apply for PCC through its Post Office Passport Seva Kendras located at Chengannur, Kattappana and Palakkad with effect from Wednesday, 28th September, 2022. This step would significantly add to the availability of PCC appointment slots at an earlier date under RPO, Cochin
