അരിവില നിയന്ത്രിക്കാൻ ശക്തമായ നടപടിയുമായി ഭക്ഷ്യവകുപ്പ്

സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് പൊതുവിപണിയിൽ അരിവില നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നതിന് ഭക്ഷ്യ വകുപ്പ് ശക്തമായ നടപടികൾ സ്വീകരിച്ചുവരുന്നതായി ഭക്ഷ്യ പൊതുവിതരണ വകുപ്പുമന്ത്രി ജി.ആർ. അനിൽ അറിയിച്ചു. ഇതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി ആന്ധ്രയിൽ നിന്നും നേരിട്ട് അരി, മുളക് എന്നിവ ഇറക്കുമതി ചെയ്യുന്നതിനെ സംബന്ധിച്ച കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഇന്ന് (നവംബർ 1) തലസ്ഥാനത്ത് എത്തുന്ന ആന്ധ്രപ്രദേശ് ഭക്ഷ്യ പൊതുവിതരണ വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി കെ.പി. നാഗേശ്വര റാവുമായി ചർച്ച നടത്തുമെന്ന് മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.

രണ്ടാഴ്ച മുൻപ് ആന്ധ്ര സർക്കാരുമായി സംസ്ഥാന ഭക്ഷ്യ വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി നടത്തിയ ചർച്ചയുടെ ഭാഗമായാണ് ആന്ധ്ര ഭക്ഷ്യ വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി കേരളത്തിലെത്തുന്നത്. കേരളത്തിന് ആവശ്യമുള്ള ആന്ധ്ര ജയ അരി ഇടനിലക്കാരില്ലാതെ കുറഞ്ഞ വിലയ്ക്ക് കേരളത്തിലേക്ക് എത്തിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള കാര്യങ്ങൾ ചർച്ച ചെയ്യപ്പെടും. എത്ര ക്വിന്റൽ അരി, വില എന്നിവ ചർച്ച ചെയ്തു തീരുമാനിക്കും.

രാവിലെ 10.30ന് തൈക്കാട് ഗവ. ഗസ്റ്റ് ഹൗസിൽ നടക്കുന്ന ചർച്ചയിൽ ആന്ധ്രപ്രദേശ് സിവിൽ സപ്ലൈസ് കമ്മീഷണർ ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള ഉന്നത ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ ആന്ധ്ര മന്ത്രിയോടൊപ്പം പങ്കെടുക്കും. സംസ്ഥാന ഭക്ഷ്യ പൊതുവിതരണ വകുപ്പ് സെക്രട്ടറി അലി അസ്ഗർ പാഷ, പൊതുവിതരണ വകുപ്പു കമ്മീഷണർ സജിത് ബാബു, സപ്ലൈകോ ചെയർമാൻ & മാനേജിംഗ് ഡയറക്ടർ സഞ്ജീവ് പട്‌ജോഷി എന്നിവരും ചർച്ചയിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കും.

Food Department Minister G.R. Anil said that the Food Department is taking strong measures to control the price of rice in the public market in the state.  As part of this, the Andhra Pradesh Minister of Food and Public Distribution, who is arriving in the capital today (November 1), will discuss matters related to the import of rice and chilies directly from Andhra. The minister said that he will hold talks with Nageswara Rao.

The Andhra Food Minister is coming to Kerala as part of the discussion held by the State Food Minister with the Andhra Government two weeks ago. Matters will be discussed to bring the Andhra Jaya rice required by Kerala at a low price without middlemen. How many quintals of rice and its price will be discussed and decided.

At 10.30 am the Andhra Minister will be joined by senior officials including the Andhra Pradesh Civil Supplies Commissioner in the discussion at the Thaikkad Govt. guest house. Ali Asghar Pasha, Secretary, State Food Public Distribution Department, Sajith Babu, Commissioner, Public Distribution Department, Sanjeev Patjoshi, Chairman & Managing Director, Supplyco, will also participate in the discussion.
