എറണാകുളം: ജില്ലയില്‍ ഭക്ഷ്യസുരക്ഷാ വകുപ്പിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ 37 സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളില്‍ വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച (ജനുവരി 13) പരിശോധന നടത്തി. ഭക്ഷ്യ സുരക്ഷാ ലൈസന്‍സ്/രജിസ്‌ട്രേഷന്‍ ഇല്ലാതെയും വൃത്തിഹീനമായും പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ച ഇടപ്പള്ളി ഹോട്ടല്‍ വിറ്റാമിന്‍ (ബെയ്റൂട്ട് റെസ്റ്റോറന്റ്), സൗത്ത് കളമശ്ശേരി അധോലോകം തട്ടുകട എന്നീ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം നിര്‍ത്തിച്ചു.
ഏഴ് സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പിഴ ചുമത്തുവാനുള്ള നോട്ടീസും മൂന്ന് സ്ഥാപങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് റെക്റ്റിഫിക്കേഷന്‍ നോട്ടീസും നല്‍കി. കൂടാതെ വിവിധ ഭക്ഷ്യ വസ്തുക്കളുടെ അഞ്ച് സാമ്പിളുകള്‍ കാക്കനാട് റീജിയണല്‍ അനലിറ്റിക്കല്‍ ലാബില്‍ പരിശോധനയ്ക്ക് അയച്ചു.
ഭക്ഷ്യസുരക്ഷാ വകുപ്പ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരായ ഷണ്‍മുഖന്‍, ആദര്‍ശ് വിജയ്, എം.എന്‍ ഷംസിയ, നിമിഷ ഭാസ്‌കര്‍, കൃപാ ജോസഫ്, വിമലാ മാത്യു, നിഷാ റഹ്മാന്‍ എന്നിവര്‍ പരിശോധനയില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു.

ശുചിത്വ മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങള്‍ പാലിക്കാതെ ലൈസന്‍സില്ലാതെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്‍ക്കെതിരെ കര്‍ശന നടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കുമെന്ന് ജില്ലാ ഭക്ഷ്യ സുരക്ഷാ അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് കമ്മീഷ്ണര്‍ ജോണ്‍ വിജയകുമാര്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.
On Friday (January 13), 37 establishments were inspected under the leadership of the Food Safety Department in Ernakulam district. Edappally Hotel Vitamin (Beirut Restaurant) and South Kalamassery Adholokam Thattukada, which were operating without food safety license/registration and unhygienic, were stopped.
Penalty notices were issued to seven firms and rectification notices to three firms. Also, five samples of various food items were sent for testing at Kakkanad Regional Analytical Lab.
Food Safety Department officials Shanmuhan, Adarsh Vijay, MN Shamsia, Nimisha Bhaskar, Kripa Joseph, Vimala Mathew and Nisha Rahman participated in the inspection.
District Food Safety Assistant Commissioner John Vijayakumar informed that strict action will be taken against establishments operating without license without following hygiene standards.
