ഓണക്കാല പരിശോധന: 41.99 ലക്ഷം പിഴയീടാക്കി

തിരുവനന്തപുരം: ഓണക്കാലത്ത് ലീഗൽ മെട്രോളജി വകുപ്പ് സംസ്ഥാനമൊട്ടാകെ നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയിൽ 41.99 ലക്ഷം രൂപ പിഴയീടാക്കി. ആഗസ്റ്റ് 17 മുതൽ ഉത്രാടം നാൾ വരെയായിരുന്നു പരിശോധന. തിരുവനന്തപുരം, എറണാകുളം, കോഴിക്കോട് ജോയിന്റ് കൺട്രോളർമാരുടെ മേൽനോട്ടത്തിൽ 14 ജില്ലകളിലേയും ജനറൽ ആൻഡ് ഫ്ലൈയിംഗ് സ്ക്വാഡ് ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി കൺട്രോളർമാരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ സ്ക്വാഡുകൾ രൂപീകരിച്ചാണ് പരിശോധന നടത്തിയത്.

A fine of Rs 41.99 lakh was levied during the statewide inspection by the Legal Metrology Department during Onam. The inspection was from August 17 to Uthradam day. The inspections were conducted under the supervision of Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode Joint Controllers under the leadership of General and Flying Squad Deputy Controllers of 14 districts.

മുദ്ര പതിപ്പിക്കാത്ത അളവ് തൂക്ക ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ചതിന് 746 കേസുകളും, അളവിലും, തൂക്കത്തിലും കുറവ് വിൽപ്പന നടത്തിയതിന് 37 കേസുകളും, വില തിരുത്തിയതിനും, അമിതവില ഈടാക്കിയതിനും 29 കേസുകളും, പാക്കേജ്ഡ് കമോഡിറ്റീസ് റൂൾസ് പ്രകാരമുള്ള പ്രഖ്യാപനങ്ങൾ ഇല്ലാത്ത പായ്ക്കറ്റ് വിൽപ്പന നടത്തിയതിന് 220 കേസുകളും, പായ്ക്കർ രജിസ്ട്രേഷനില്ലാതെ പായ്ക്ക് ചെയ്ത് വിൽപ്പന നടത്തിയതിന് 125 കേസുകളും, മറ്റ് വിവിധ വകുപ്പുകൾ പ്രകാരം 94 കേസുകളും എടുത്തു. സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ പെട്രോൾ പമ്പുകൾ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനകളിൽ 9 കേസുകൾ എടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.

746 cases for use of unstamped weighing instruments, 37 cases for selling less than quantity and weight, 29 cases for price correction and overcharging, 220 cases for sale of packages without declarations as per Packaged Commodities Rules, 125 cases for the sale of packages without registration of packer, various other departments. As per 94 cases were taken. 9 cases have been picked up in the inspections conducted at petrol pumps in the state.
