തേങ്കുറുശ്ശിയില്‍ ജനകീയ മത്സ്യ കൃഷി വിളവെടുത്തു

പാലക്കാട്: ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തുകളുടെ സഹകരണത്തോടെ ഫിഷറീസ് വകുപ്പ് നടപ്പാക്കി വരുന്ന ജനകീയ മത്സ്യകൃഷി രണ്ടാംഘട്ടത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി തേങ്കുറുശ്ശിയില്‍ ശാസ്ത്രീയ മത്സ്യകൃഷി വിളവെടുപ്പ് നടത്തി.  കാര്‍പ്പ് ഇനം  മത്സ്യങ്ങളെയാണ്  ജനകീയ  മത്സ്യ കൃഷിയിലൂടെ വിളവെടുത്തത്. മത്സ്യ തൊഴിലാളികള്‍ക്ക് തൊഴിലും വരുമാനവും പൊതുജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വിഷരഹിതമായ മത്സ്യവും ലഭ്യമാക്കുക, ജലാശയങ്ങള്‍ സംരക്ഷിക്കുക എന്നീ ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളോടെയാണ് പദ്ധതി നടപ്പാക്കുന്നത്.

പഞ്ചായത്തില്‍ വിവിധ പൊതുകുളങ്ങളിലായി മത്സ്യകൃഷി നടന്നു വരുന്നുണ്ട്. തേങ്കുറുശ്ശി വടുകത്തറ രുഗ്മണിയുടെ 50 സെന്റ് വിസ്തൃതിയുള്ള മത്സ്യകുളത്തിലെ വിളവെടുപ്പ് തേങ്കുറുശ്ശി പഞ്ചായത്ത് ആറാം വാര്‍ഡംഗം കെ. ഉണ്ണികുമാരന്‍ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രമോട്ടര്‍ എം. ഹരിദാസ്, പ്രൊജക്ട് കോര്‍ഡിനേറ്റര്‍ കെ.എ അജീഷ്, കര്‍ഷകരായ ആര്‍. രാമന്‍, ആര്‍. ലക്ഷമണന്‍, കെ. വിനോദ് എന്നിവര്‍ സംസാരിച്ചു.

As part of the second phase of popular fish farming implemented by the Fisheries Department in collaboration with Gram Panchayats, scientific fish farming was carried out in Thenkurussi. Carp species are harvested through popular fish farming. The project is being implemented to provide employment, income to fishermen and provide non-toxic fish to the public and protect water bodies.

Fish farming is going on in various public ponds in the panchayat. Harvesting of Thenkurussi Vadukathara Rugmani in 50 cent area fishpond Thenkurussi Panchayat VI Wardangam K. Unnikumaran inaugurated. Panchayat Promoter M. Haridas, project coordinator KA Ajeesh, farmers R. Raman, R. Lakshmanan, K. Vinod also spoke.
