നിലവില്‍ കര്‍ഷകര്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതും കൃഷി ആവശ്യത്തിനായി എടുത്ത വൈദ്യുതി കണക്ഷന്‍ ഉളളതുമായ പമ്പുകള്‍ക്ക് ഓണ്‍ഗ്രിഡ് സോളാര്‍ പവര്‍ പ്ലാന്റ് സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നതിനു കേന്ദ്രസംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാറുകള്‍ 60ശതമാനം സബ്‌സിഡി നല്‍കും. അധികമായി ഉല്‍പാദിപ്പിക്കുന്ന വൈദ്യുതി ഗ്രിഡിലേക്ക് നല്‍കാവുന്നതും അതുവഴി കര്‍ഷകര്‍ക്ക് അധികവരുമാനം ലഭിക്കും.
The Central and State Governments will provide 60% subsidy for setting up of ongrid solar power plant for pumps which are currently used by farmers and have power connections taken for cultivation purposes. The excess power generated can be given to the grid so that the farmers get extra income

കുറഞ്ഞത് 25 സെന്റ് സ്ഥലം ഉളളവര്‍ക്ക് അപേക്ഷിക്കാം. ഒരു കിലോവാട്ട് സോളാര്‍ പാനല്‍ സ്ഥാപിക്കുവാന്‍ 10 മീറ്റര്‍ സ്‌ക്വയര്‍ നിഴല്‍രഹിതസ്ഥലം ആവശ്യമാണ്. കെ.എസ്.ബി കാര്‍ഷിക കണക്ഷന്റെ വൈദ്യുതിബില്‍, ഭൂനികുതി അടച്ച രസീത്, ആധാര്‍ പകര്‍പ്പ് എന്നിവയുമായി അനെര്‍ട്ട് ജില്ലാ ഓഫീസില്‍ അപേക്ഷ നല്‍കണം. അപേക്ഷാ ഫീസ് 1690 രൂപയാണ്.
