ഡ്രോണ്‍ മരുന്ന് തളി, പരിശീലനം നടത്തി

കാസർകോട്: കൃഷിയിടങ്ങളില്‍ ഡ്രോണ്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് മരുന്ന് തളിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള പരിശീലനവുമായി കൃഷി വകുപ്പ്. കൃഷി വകുപ്പിന് കീഴില്‍ നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്ന കേന്ദ്രാവിഷ്‌കൃത പദ്ധതിയായ സബ്മിഷന്‍ ഓണ്‍ അഗ്രിക്കള്‍ച്ചറല്‍ മെക്കനൈസേഷന്‍ ഭാഗമായാണ് ജില്ലയില്‍ കാര്‍ഷിക ഡ്രോണുകളുടെ പ്രദര്‍ശനവും, പ്രവൃത്തി പരിശീലനവും സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത്.

കൂടുതല്‍ നെല്‍പ്പാടങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടാകുമ്പോള്‍ ഇതിനിടയില്‍ നെല്‍ച്ചെടികള്‍ക്ക് എന്തെങ്കിലും അസുഖങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ അത് എളുപ്പത്തില്‍ കണ്ടുപിടിക്കാനും അതിനാവശ്യമായ മരുന്നുകള്‍ തളിക്കാനും ഡ്രോണ്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് സാധിക്കും.

എട്ടുമിനിറ്റ് കൊണ്ട് ഒരേക്കര്‍ പാടത്ത് മരുന്ന് തളി സാധ്യമാകും. കാര്‍ഷികമേഖലയില്‍ മരുന്നടിക്കുന്നതിനും മറ്റും തൊഴിലാളികളെ കിട്ടാന്‍ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ട് നേരിടുന്നതിനാല്‍ യന്ത്രവത്കൃത മരുന്നുതളി കര്‍ഷകര്‍ക്ക് ഏറെ പ്രയോജനം ആകും എന്നാണ് കൃഷിവകുപ്പിന്റെ വിലയിരുത്തല്‍.

പുല്ലൂര്‍ സീഡ് ഫാമില്‍ നടന്ന കാര്‍ഷിക ഡ്രോണ്‍ പ്രദര്‍ശനവും പരിശീലനവും കാഞ്ഞങ്ങാട് ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡണ്ട് കെ. മണികണ്ഠന്‍ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡണ്ട് സി.കെ.അരവിന്ദാക്ഷന്‍ അധ്യക്ഷനായി. കൃഷി എക്‌സി.എഞ്ചിനീയര്‍ സി.കെ.മോഹനന്‍ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് അവതരപ്പിച്ചു. പഞ്ചായത്ത് മെമ്പര്‍മാരായ എം.വി.നാരായണന്‍, ടി.വി.കരിയന്‍, ബങ്കളം കുഞ്ഞികൃഷ്ണന്‍ എന്നിവര്‍ സംസാരിച്ചു. പ്രിന്‍സിപ്പല്‍ കൃഷി ഓഫീസര്‍ ആര്‍.വീണാറാണി സ്വാഗതവും, കൃഷി അസി.എക്‌സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് എഞ്ചിനീയര്‍ എ.ഭാസ്‌ക്കരന്‍ നന്ദിയും പറഞ്ഞു.

Agriculture Department has given training to spray pesticides on farms using drones. The exhibition of agricultural drones and training was organized in the district as a part of the Submission on Agricultural Mechanization, a centrally-initiated project implemented under the Department of Agriculture.

When there are more paddy fields and if they  have any diseases, they can be easily detected and sprayed with the necessary pesticides using drones.

One acre field can be sprayed with medicine in eight minutes. The Department of Agriculture is of the opinion that mechanized spraying will be of great benefit to the farmers as they are facing difficulty in getting laborers for spraying in the agricultural sector.

Agricultural drone exhibition and training held at Pullur Seed Farm Kanhangad Block Panchayat President K. Manikandan inaugurated. Panchayat President CK Aravindakshan presided. Agriculture Ex. Engineer CK Mohanan presented the report. Panchayat members MV Narayanan, TV Karian and Bangalam Kunhikrishnan spoke. Principal Agriculture Officer R.Veenarani welcomed and Agriculture Asst. Executive Engineer A.Bhaskaran gave a vote of thanks.
