Kochi: The Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) has invited applications for the post of Young Professional for a research project on the genetic study of cane in the Indian Ocean on a contract basis. There is only one vacancy so far.

The monthly salary is Rs. 25,000. The basic qualification is a Degree in Genetics, Biotechnology, Fisheries, Marine Biology or Life Sciences and laboratory experience in Fish Genetics and Biotechnology.
