ദുര്‍ഘടപ്രദേശങ്ങളില്‍ മൃഗചികിത്സ

കൊല്ലം: ജില്ലയിലെ ദുര്‍ഘടപ്രദേശങ്ങളില്‍ മൃഗചികിത്സയും സേവനവും എത്തിക്കുവാനുള്ള ആംബുലേറ്ററി ക്ലിനിക് പദ്ധതി ആരംഭിച്ചു. ജില്ലാ വെറ്ററിനറി കേന്ദ്രത്തിലെ മൊബൈല്‍ വെറ്ററിനറി ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലാണ് ക്യാമ്പുകള്‍ നടത്തുക.

ജില്ലയിലെ ഗിരിവര്‍ഗ ഊരുകളിലും തീരപ്രദേശങ്ങളിലും മൃഗസംരക്ഷണ സേവനം എത്തിക്കുന്നതിനാണ് പദ്ധതി. മണ്‍റോത്തുരുത്തിലെ പെരിങ്ങാലം, കിടപ്രം മലയില്‍ക്കടവ് എന്നീ പ്രദേശങ്ങളില്‍ ആദ്യഘട്ട ക്യാമ്പുകള്‍ തുടങ്ങി. ജില്ലാ മൃഗാശുപത്രി മേധാവി ഡോ.ഡി.ഷൈന്‍കുമാര്‍ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു.

ഉരുക്കള്‍ക്ക് മരുന്നുകളും ജീവകങ്ങളും ധാതുലവണ മിശ്രിതങ്ങളും മീനെണ്ണയും ടോണിക്കുകളും സൗജന്യമായി നല്‍കി. വന്ധ്യത പരിശോധനയും നടത്തി. സീനിയര്‍ വെറ്ററിനറി സര്‍ജന്‍മാരായ ഡോ. ബി.സോജ, ഡോ. എസ്. ഷീജ, ഡോ. സേതുലക്ഷ്മി, ഡോ.മഞ്ജു തുടങ്ങിയവര്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു.

Kollam: An ambulatory clinic project has been launched to bring veterinary treatment and services to the rugged areas of the district. The camps will be conducted under the leadership of the Mobile Veterinary Hospital of the District Veterinary Centre.

The project aims to provide animal protection services in the hill towns and coastal areas of the district. The first phase of camps have started in Peringalam and Kitapram Malailkadav areas in Munrothuruth. Dr. D. Shinekumar, Chief of the District Veterinary Hospital, inaugurated the event.

Medicines, vitals, mineral mixtures, fish oil and tonics were provided free of cost to the cows. Infertility test was also done. Senior Veterinary Surgeons Dr. B. Soja, Dr. S. Sheeja, Dr. Sethulakshmi, Dr. Manju and others participated.
