കശുവണ്ടി പ്രതിസന്ധിക്ക് പരിഹാരം വേണം - എസ് ജയമോഹന്‍

കൊല്ലം: കശുവണ്ടി മേഖലയിലെ പ്രതിസന്ധി പരിഹരിക്കാന്‍ കേന്ദ്രസര്‍ക്കാര്‍ നയംമാറ്റം അനിവാര്യമെന്ന് കാഷ്യു കോര്‍പ്പറേഷന്‍ ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ എസ് ജയമോഹന്‍. നവകേരള സദസ്സിനു മുന്നോടിയായി ഫെഡറേഷന്‍ ഓഫ് കാഷ്യു പ്രോസസ്സേര്‍സ് ആന്‍ഡ് എക്‌സ്‌പോര്‍ട്ടേഴ്‌സ് നടത്തിയ സെമിനാര്‍ പ്രസ്‌ക്ലബ്ബ് ഹാളില്‍ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം. തോട്ടണ്ടി ഇറക്കുമതിയിലെ ചുങ്കമാണ് പ്രധാന ഭീഷണി. ചെറുകിടക്കാരെയും ഇടത്തട്ടുകാരെയും ഒഴിവാക്കുന്നതിനായി കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നയവും ഇറക്കുമതിയെ സാരമായി ബാധിച്ചു.

വിദേശരാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും ഗുണനിലവാരം നോക്കാതെ കശുവണ്ടിപ്പരിപ്പ് ഇറക്കുമതി ചെയ്യുന്നതും അവസാനിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതാണ്. മുഴുവന്‍ ഗ്രാറ്റുവിറ്റിയും സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ നല്‍കികഴിഞ്ഞു. വ്യവസായികളെയും തൊഴിലാളികളെയും സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിനായി സാമ്പത്തിക പാക്കേജുകള്‍ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു എന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. എഫ്‌സിപിഇ വര്‍ക്കിംഗ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് സുജിന്‍ അധ്യക്ഷനായി. വിവിധ തൊഴിലാളി സംഘടനാ നേതാക്കളും വ്യവസായികളും പങ്കെടുത്തു.
