കേരള തീരത്ത് ഉയർന്ന തിരമാലയ്ക്ക് സാധ്യത

കേരള തീരത്ത് ഇന്ന് (ഫെബ്രുവരി 25) രാത്രി 11.30 വരെ 1.0 മുതൽ 1.5 മീറ്റർ വരെ ഉയർന്ന തിരമാലയ്ക്കും കടലാക്രമണത്തിനും സാധ്യതയുള്ളതായി ദേശീയ സമുദ്രസ്ഥിതിപഠന ഗവേഷണ കേന്ദ്രം അറിയിച്ചു. ഈ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ മത്സ്യത്തൊഴിലാളികൾക്കും തീരദേശവാസികൾക്കും  സംസ്ഥാനദുരന്തനിവാരണ അതോറിറ്റി ജാഗ്രത മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നൽകി.

മത്സ്യബന്ധന യാനങ്ങളുടെയും ഉപകരണങ്ങളുടെയും സുരക്ഷ ഉറപ്പാക്കണമെന്നും ബീച്ചിലേയ്ക്കുള്ള യാത്രകളും കടലിൽ ഇറങ്ങിയുള്ള വിനോദങ്ങളും പൂർണമായും ഒഴിവാക്കണമെന്നും നിർദേശമുണ്ട്. അതേസമയം കേരള - കർണാടക - ലക്ഷദ്വീപ് തീരങ്ങളിൽ മത്സ്യബന്ധനത്തിന് തടസമില്ലെന്നും അറിയിപ്പിൽ പറയുന്നു.

According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Research Center, there is a possibility of 1.0 to 1.5 meter high waves and storm surge along the Kerala coast today (February 25) till 11.30 pm.

In this situation, the State Disaster Management Authority issued a warning to fishermen and coastal residents.

It has been suggested to ensure the safety of fishing vessels and equipment and to avoid trips to the beach and recreation at sea. At the same time, there is no restriction on fishing in Kerala-Karnataka-Lakshadweep coasts, the notification said.
