ഇന്ന് ( ജനുവരി 29 ) ഭൂമധ്യരേഖയോട് ചേർന്നുള്ള ഇന്ത്യൻ മഹാസമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ കിഴക്കൻ ഭാഗം, അതിനോട് ചേർന്നുള്ള തെക്ക് കിഴക്കൻ ബംഗാൾ ഉൾക്കടൽ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ മണിക്കൂറിൽ 40 മുതൽ 45 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ വേഗതയിലും ചില അവസരങ്ങളിൽ 55 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ വേഗതയിലും ശക്തമായ കാറ്റിനും മോശം കാലാവസ്ഥയ്ക്കും സാധ്യതയെന്ന് കേന്ദ്രകാലാവസ്ഥാവകുപ്പ്.
ഈ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ മുന്നറിയിപ്പുള്ള പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ മത്സ്യബന്ധനത്തിന് പോകരുതെന്ന് ജില്ലാ കളക്ടർ അറിയിച്ചു. അതേസമയം കേരള-കർണാടക-ലക്ഷദ്വീപ് തീരങ്ങളിൽ മത്സ്യബന്ധനത്തിന് തടസമില്ലെന്നും അറിയിപ്പിൽ പറയുന്നു.

Today (January 29), the Central Meteorological Department said that strong wind and bad weather are likely to occur in the eastern part of the Indian Ocean adjacent to the equator and the adjacent South East Bay of Bengal with a speed of 40 to 45 km per hour and some times up to 55 km per hour.
In this situation, the District Collector informed that people should not go fishing in the warning areas. At the same time, there is no restriction on fishing in Kerala-Karnataka-Lakshadweep coasts, the notification said.
