ഉയർന്ന തിരമാലയ്ക്ക് സാധ്യത

കേരള തീരത്ത്  നാളെ (ഏപ്രിൽ 18) രാത്രി 11.30  വരെ 0.5 മുതൽ 1 മീറ്റർ വരെ ഉയർന്ന തിരമാലയ്ക്കും കടലാക്രമണത്തിനും സാധ്യതയുള്ളതായി ദേശീയ സമുദ്രസ്ഥിതി പഠന ഗവേഷണ കേന്ദ്രം അറിയിച്ചു.

സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ മത്സ്യത്തൊഴിലാളികൾക്കും തീരദേശവാസികൾക്കും സംസ്ഥാന ദുരന്തനിവാരണ അതോറിറ്റി ജാഗ്രതാ നിർദേശം നൽകി. മത്സ്യബന്ധന യാനങ്ങളുടെയും ഉപകരണങ്ങളുടെയും സുരക്ഷ ഉറപ്പാക്കണമെന്നും ബീച്ചിലേയ്ക്കുള്ള യാത്രകളും കടലിൽ ഇറങ്ങിയുള്ള വിനോദങ്ങളും പൂർണമായും ഒഴിവാക്കണമെന്നും മുന്നറിയിപ്പുണ്ട്.

According to the National Center for Oceanography and Research, there is a possibility of 0.5 to 1 meter high waves and storm surge along the Kerala coast tomorrow (April 18) till 11.30 pm.

In this situation, the State Disaster Management Authority has issued a warning to fishermen and coastal residents. There is a warning to ensure the safety of fishing vessels and equipment and avoid trips to the beach and recreation at sea.
