ജില്ലാ കൃഷി ഓഫീസിലെ ഇ- ഓഫീസ് കൃഷി വകുപ്പു മന്ത്രി പി. പ്രസാദ് ഓണ്‍ലൈനായി ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു.
ഇ-ഓഫീസ് സംവിധാനം നിലവില്‍ വരുന്നതോടെ ഓഫീസുകള്‍ പേപ്പര്‍ രഹിതമാകുകയും കേന്ദ്ര- സംസ്ഥാന പദ്ധതികളിടെ ആനുകൂല്യങ്ങള്‍ താമസം കൂടാതെ കര്‍ഷകരിലേക്ക് എത്തിക്കാൻ സാധിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുമെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. കേരളം ക്രമേണ ജൈവ കൃഷിയിലേക്ക് മാറേണ്ടതുണ്ട്. ആഗോള താപനവും അതിന്റെ ഫലമായി ഉണ്ടാകുന്ന പ്രകൃതി ദുരന്തങ്ങളും ഇല്ലാതാക്കാന്‍ നാം തന്നെ മുന്നിട്ടിറങ്ങണമെന്നും കര്‍ഷകര്‍ക്ക് ശാസ്ത്രീയമായ കൃഷി രീതികള്‍ അവലംബിക്കാന്‍ സാധിക്കണമെന്നും മന്ത്രി അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു.

ഓണ്‍ലൈനായി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച ചടങ്ങില്‍ ജില്ലാ കലക്ടര്‍ ഡോ.എൻ. തേജ് ലോഹിത് റെഡ്ഡി ഇ- ഓഫീസിൻ്റെ സ്വിച്ച് ഓണ്‍ കര്‍മം നിര്‍വഹിച്ചു . കൃഷി ഓഫീസര്‍ ശശി പൊന്നണ , കൃഷി ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി ഡയറക്ടര്‍ പുഷ്പ എന്നിവര്‍ സംസാരിച്ചു. കൃഷി വകുപ്പിലെ മറ്റു ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരും പങ്കെടുത്തു.
E-Office of the District Agriculture Office Prasad inaugurated online.
He said with the introduction of e-office system, offices would be paperless and the benefits of central and state schemes could be extended to farmers without delay. Kerala needs to gradually shift to organic farming. The Minister said that we must take the lead in eliminating global warming and the resulting natural disasters and enable farmers to adopt scientific farming methods.
District Collector Dr.N. Tej Lohit Reddy switched on the e-office. Agriculture Officer Shashi Ponnana and Agriculture Deputy Director Pushpa spoke. Other officials from the Department of Agriculture also attended.
