കേരളത്തിൽ ശക്തമായ മഴയും കാറ്റും നിലനിൽക്കുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ പൊതുജനങ്ങളും ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടവരും പ്രത്യേക ജാഗ്രത നിർദ്ദേശങ്ങൾ പാലിക്കണം എന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥാ വകുപ്പ് അറിയിച്ചു. ഏപ്രിൽ 17 വരെ കേരളത്തിൽ മഴയ്ക്ക് അനുകൂലമായ സ്ഥിതിയാണുള്ളത്. കൂടാതെ 40 കിലോമീറ്റർ വേഗത്തിൽ വീശുന്ന കാറ്റിനും സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്. ശക്തമായ കാറ്റിൽ മരങ്ങളും ശാഖകളും ഒടിഞ്ഞുവീഴാൻ സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്. ഉണ്ടാകുമ്പോൾ കെഎസ്ഇബിയുടെ വൈദ്യുതി കമ്പികളും പോസ്റ്റുകളും തകരാറിൽ ആകാൻ സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്.
The Central Meteorological Department has warned the public and concerned people to be extra vigilant in case of heavy rains and winds in Kerala. Kerala has favorable rainfall till April 17. In addition, winds of up to 40 kmph are possible. Trees and branches are likely to break in strong winds. When this happens, KSEB's power lines and posts are likely to be damaged.
