പാതിരിയെ പരിചയപ്പെടാം

ഇന്ത്യ, ശ്രീലങ്ക, മ്യാന്മാർ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ ഇലപൊഴിയും വനങ്ങളിൽ കാണുന്ന ഒരു വന്മാരമാണ് പാതിരി. കളിമൺ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ ധാരാളമായി ഇത് വളരുന്നു. തീയും വരൾച്ചയും എല്ലാം ഒരു പരിധിവരെ സഹിക്കുന്ന വൃക്ഷമാണ് പാതിരി.വനവൽക്കരണത്തിന് ഊഷര പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ പാതിരി നട്ടു പിടിപ്പിക്കാം. ഇതിൻറെ വേര്,ഇല,പൂവ് എന്നിവയെല്ലാം ഔഷധഗുണങ്ങൾ ഉള്ളതാണ്.

തടി ഫർണിച്ചറുകൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കുവാനും ഉപയോഗപ്പെടുത്താം. വാതഹര ഔഷധങ്ങളിൽ ഇത് ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. ഇതുകൊണ്ട് നിർമിച്ച കട്ടിലിൽ വാത രോഗികൾക്ക് കിടന്നാൽ രോഗശമനമുണ്ടാകും. ഇതിൻറെ പേര് മൂത്രാശയ രോഗങ്ങൾക്ക് ഫലപ്രദമായ ഒരു ഔഷധമാണ്. ഇതിൻറെ ഉപയോഗം നീരും വേദനയും കുറച്ച് നാഡികളെ ബലപ്പെടുത്തുവാൻ സഹായകമാകുന്നു.

ഒന്നര മീറ്റർ ആഴത്തിലും സമചതുരത്തിലും 15 മീറ്റർ അകലത്തിലുമായി തയ്യാറാക്കിയ കുഴികളിൽ ചാണകപ്പൊടിയോ കമ്പോസ്റ്റോ 10 കിലോ വീതം ഇട്ടശേഷം മേൽമണ്ണ് കൊണ്ട് മൂടി അതിനുമുകളിൽ തൈകൾ നടുക. ആദ്യ വർഷം ജലസേചനം ആവശ്യമാണ്. പിന്നീട് അത് ആവശ്യമായി വരാറില്ല. ക്രമമായ വളപ്രയോഗം നടത്തിയാൽ പത്താം വർഷം മുതൽ മരം ഔഷധ ആവശ്യത്തിനുവേണ്ടി ഉപയോഗിക്കാം.
